Best place we stayed while on holiday!!!! It was beautiful, the rooms were beautiful and modern, we loved the welcome message on the tv personalized to us, there were free laundry facilities, room service, and may I mention the EXCELLENT SERVICE by the EXCELLENT STAFF??!! Barley Cottage was exceptional. Just across the road from the main hotel. Warm, beautifully decorated, everything we needed. Excellent toiletries by the White Company. Real milk, a scone and jam and cream greeted our arrival.

Exceptionally comfortable room - great space and my upgrade meant I had a terrace and city views. Was a bright but wet day so couldn't use to full advantage but still appreciated!

Stayed in the deluxe suite. The room was absolutely spotless, lovely roll top bath in a large bathroom, comfortable bed and room really well appointed. Lovely food in the bar also. Right in the centre of town.

Old school rooms above the pub. Dead center around everything. Good music in the pub that you couldn't hear in the room. A great bathtub and separate shower. Huge bathroom.
