We believe that interaction comes naturally . We are sociable but will leave you alone to have your space and to enjoy your stay . However we are only a stones throw away so we are more than happy to catch up with you in passing. When booking please can you let us know your reason for the stay , who is joining you, if you are bringing any pets and the time you expect to arrive ?

We live in a quiet area of the village which is south facing , so when the sun is out we can get coverage most of the day. We do have neighbours , so we ask for guests to respect the quiet hours of 10pm -8am. We have our own croft , which is accessible from the accommodation , and is perfect for allowing your dog to have a bit of freedom , or if you want to make use of it to sunbathe , and relax . There are many lovely walks straight from the door which can incorporate some of the local pubs from nearby villages. Carleton itself has a lovely modern country pub The Swan Inn , which is dog friendly , is approx 3 min walk and serves some really excellent food . It serves food most day ( please check the pub for up to date info) Train station is within Skipton (approx. 2 miles) There is a local bus route from Carleton into Skipton each hour from 9am -3pm Mon - Fri. Good local taxi services
