Accommodations in South Witham

one of the best places we slept during our lake district tour. Lodge are huge. 3 bedrooms, large living room, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, balcony on the lake! cannot believe that we found such a place!

It was a great location overlooking Rutland Water. Close to everything we wanted to explore. The apartment we stayed in was well kitted out with everything we needed.

From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed by 1 of those hosts, James. His warmth & character immediately put me at ease. His hospitality with great impression. He took the time to explain everything I needed to know about the property, which helped me feel comfortable & settled straightaway. He also shared thoughtful recommendations about local amenities & tourist attractions, drawing from his own experience, which made the area feel much less familiar. This meant a great deal to me, especially as I was tired from travelling & had a wedding to attend. His guidance helped me find bearings & discover places i may not have thought to visit. To make things more special there was a homemade cake made by victoria along with a some beverages in the fridge. After a 3 hr journey those thoughtful touches felt incredibly kind and were deeply appreciated. The open plan guest space and decor had such a homely welcoming feel, with sweet cottage features that gave the whole place so much charm and character. It truly felt like a home away from home. The bathroom & kitchen facilities excellent, it was clear that everything had been carefully thought of to make stay comfortable. Bed was cosy and comfortable & peaceful, quiet surroundings made it easy to relax. P.s secure parking & easily accessible

It was perfect! I had a very comfortable and cosy stay. The owners are so friendly, and the property is in a lovely quiet village right off the A1. It was beautifully decorated, there was fresh milk for a cup of tea and the bed was very comfortable. A real home away from home! They had everything you could need.

Stayed in a room that queen Victoria used too😀 And loved the breakfast.

Lovely little pub , great facilities lots of tea to chose from. Clean and comfy bed. Great breakfast too , good value for money.
