From a great view to an exceptional breakfast, we were most impressed by every aspect of our stay. While we were travelling the North Coast 500 and only stayed one night, had we known the quality of this B&B, we would have booked extra nights. Lizzie is an outstanding and caring host.

United KingdomIt was a beautiful setting which is why I had chosen the property. The interior was immaculate and it was very cosy. The host was amazing, very friendly and accommodating and assisted us when we were leaving when trying to clean out our barbecue. I’d go back just to catch up again with the host.

Fantastic location, perfect amenities, everything a tired traveller of the NC 500 could want. Our best night of accommodation during our tour of the highlands and the owner was amazing at letting us know of local events happening around the time of our stay which enhanced our trip immensely.

Super comfortable, good value, warm accommodation with everything you need at hand & with the added bonus of having a great hot tub, too.. Walking distance from thurso and plenty tourists spots nearby to visit. It's definitely worth a stay.

Our hosts were warm and welcoming on arrival and took our bags from the car to our room. They could not do enough to ensure we had a good stay. We had a beautiful room, The Stag Room, and a gorgeous ensuite. There was lots of room in our entire accommodation which was very helpful for my husband as he has Parkinsons Disease. Breakfast was good on both occasions and compliments to the chef were given to Martin.

If you are catching an early ferry, this is the perfect location. Staff are totally geared up for this too, anticipating when you'll need breakfast, giving all the information you'll need. Accommodation is clean and without frills but very reasonably priced and very comfortable. If you need your luxuries on holiday this might not be for you but for most travellers this will be an excellent overnight before a ferry journey.

One of the best stays on the NC500. The rooms are simple but meticulously clean, very comfortable bed. Host was very welcoming and makes you instantly comfortable. Breakfast was the real highlight - fully cooked breakfast all included in price of accommodation!

I was there for a three night stay. The hotel room was very dated, the bed mattress was lumpy and slightly uncomfortable but the room was very clean and warm. The shower in our room was inside the bath but amazing and wasn’t a problem for me but could be a bit slippery. The hotel is currently being renovated. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast was spot on apart from the sausages, they wasn’t to my taste. Overall the hotel was clean, warm and in a nice town, if you like a quiet and peaceful holiday.
