Accommodations in Varenna

The location is very strategic, right by the pier and overlooking the lake. It is located at a charming little town where everyone knows everyone and you can find great products from local grocery store. Most importantly though, Sina, the hospitality manager was really really helpful - he helped arrange travel options for us, brought our luggages, solved minor problem when the hot water was turned off, provided great list of restaurants and boat rent options.

The house is wonderful! Perfectly clean and located in a very relaxing neighborhood above Varenna right next to the castle.

View from the apartment and our incredible host are the biggest positives. Across many years and many apartment bookings, I haven’t met a host so cordial and helpful. You are an amazing host Silvia.

The apartment is very spacious and very clean and you get a very nice view of the lake and surrounding mountains from the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped and you could also find oil, salt and pepper, some spices and coffee and tea there. There is also a private parking space in a garage that is easy to access that you could use during your stay and that is very important as parking is a problem in the area. Nicole and Marta our hosts were very nice and accommodating. There is a lot of turism info in the apartment including some booklets regarding the villas and castles that you could visit in the area, hiking trails as well as the ferry schedule. We really appreciated our host’s attention to details. There was also a nice bottle of sparkling wine and some pretzels waiting for us in the living room. That’s a very nice touch! wow! such a great place to stay! 2 minutes from the port, a supermarket right next to it, and what can I say about the view from the terrace!!! just wonderful. the staff was also really really nice

The hospitality of our host, Nicolò, truly exceeded expectations. He reached out well in advance to confirm our arrival and even arranged for an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. Throughout our stay, he remained attentive, responsive, and eager to accommodate any request. The property itself is perfectly located — right in the heart of Varenna — and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay.

Nice room, it is quite basic and despite being called a B&B, breakfast is not included - that was highlighted before hand so I don't have any issues there. The main draw is the location, its right in the middle of the town, a couple of minutes walk from a ton of restaurants, shops, walking trails, the botanical gardens - for the price you really couldnt find a better location.

The place is even better than the pictures, the location is outstanding, right in the heart of Varenna. The apartment was clean and cozy, you have anything you will need. Deborah was very kind and communicative with us during our days in her place. I would definitely come back here.

We loved our stay at this awesome spot in Varenna - it was super clean and had tons of space to spread out and relax. The location couldn't have been better, just a quick walk to the lake and all the best restaurants in town. Every morning we'd take a short stroll to waterfront cafés for cappuccino and watch the boats go by, and it was so easy to hop on the ferry whenever we wanted to check out other Lake Como towns. It honestly felt like we hit the jackpot with this place - perfect home base for our Italian getaway.

The host was exceptionally welcoming and accomodating. Her home was also very well equipped with anything and everything one might require. It included washing machine and clothes detergent, iron, a ceiling fan for the bedroom, cooking utensils etc. The bathroom was super clean and well stocked, including a hand-spray with the toilet. The home was very well decorated and organized. Certainly has the old italian charm. Convenient and picturesque location! Marilena picked us up from the station, gave us a quick tour of the town and also dropped us off at the station, which we highly appreciated. Overall one of our best experiences!

This cute apartment was perfect in every way. The location is definitely number 1. It’s in the middle of everything yet quiet.

Perfect location surrounded by all the shops. Short walk to train station (be mindful that it’s up a hill at some points but you’re 100% gonna get that no matter where you stay here) super clean space and the staff is helpful. We’d definitely stay here again
