Loved all the beautiful details put forth for this tiny home. We loved the e stain glass windows ! Very comfy bed! Ample parking! The gardens were delightful!

What a fabulous find this place was! An entire house to ourselves out in the country with stunning views of Mt Taranaki! We loved the layout and spacious feel of the house. Kitchen was superbly appointed. Bathrooms were beautiful with great water pressure. Comfortable beds. And great decor. Falling asleep to the sound of the river was wonderful. Wish we were staying more than two nights!

Mary the hostess was lovely & friendly & most helpful. It was a cozy home with everything you would need. Breakfast selection was very good. Included gluten free options for my coeliac daughter. Most grateful for that.

The house is older but is up kept with lots of love. My room had a sink in it which was really nice, otherwise it was a very small room with a bed but just enough for me for an overnight stay. There is a common kitchen area and lounge, and two shared bathroom areas. The car park is in the back and you have to walk all the way around to go in and out of the front door to the car park, which isn't too bad but something to consider for mobility limitations or if you have a lot to carry to your room. There is a pub and a restaurant on the bottom floor and the accomodations are on the second floor accessed by stairs inside. I enjoyed my stay here and found it very pleasant. The price was higher than I would have expected but closer to fair than others I looked at in the area.

Our host, Wendy, is a warm, friendly, funny lady. We very much enjoyed meeting her and staying in the lovely cottage. During our 3 night stay, we enjoyed being able to spread out in the tastefully decorated, Roomy lounge, kitchen and dining area. The bed is super comfy. And, we appreciated the washer and strong WiFi. The property is way out of town ... the peace, the darkness were lovely! (A good thing we carry night torches to light the long trek down the stairs to the bathroom!!😯) 😉

A beautiful self-contained flat with everything you hoped for a leisure and relaxed holiday away from the central area of town but yet not too far away. It was set on a life style 2.5 acres block with added bonus of an outdoor spa bath which is nice to have a soak in after a full day out ! Hosts Ron and Sue are very nice and helpful in providing good advice on local information . I will definitely recommend it anyone !

Spectacular location with incredible views and beautiful spacious accommodation with amazing hosts. This is a 6 star venue. Our only issue is that we did not stay long enough!!

So cute and clean, perfect cozy home to sleep and stay. The owners were so welcoming and thoughtful and provided everything to make the stay perfect.

The property is in the residential neighborhood surrounded by the trees. It was very quiet and peaceful. The property owner was very nice and friendly. This is a great place for someone to stay a week or two and enjoys hiking and exploring around.

We had a wonderful stay at this booking. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the fresh eggs from his chickens. The location was perfect—very close to the hike we wanted to do—which made our trip even more convenient and enjoyable. The host also gave us an excellent dinner recommendation that turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. The place itself was spacious, comfortable, and filled with lovely windows offering beautiful views. For the quality and experience, the price was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this booking to anyone visiting the area.
