we LOVED everything about this accommodation & we cannot wait to return again. We stayed in the beachfront cabin with bath, sadly the weather was against us but we still loved being right there on the beach & enjoying the wildness of the Tasman sea etc. We had everything we needed in the cabin & we were very very warm. The cabins also include a private outside area with small BBQ & outside seating. BTW we were skeptical about not have a TV in our cabin BUT after 1 day/night we said we could easily do 2++++ minus TV's etc & will happily book again with this knowledge. However as said weather wasn't the kindest BUT we all (including other guests) enjoyed a magical sunset in between clouds & rain & then the most magnificent rainbow. We cannot wait to return & next time we hope to try out the dome accommodation, switch it up a bit. A BIG shout out to the young couple who managed the park, they were extremely helpful & went out of their way to make our stay just so enjoyable...hope to see you again soon

Absolutely everything! Wonderful staff, friendly and accommodating Perfect location! Walked to the ocean, drove 2 minutes to the lake. We loved our accommodations! Lovely lovely lovely. Best fish and chops ever!

This was a self-catering accommodation so we went out for breakfast to the easily walkable eateries nearby. The room was actually a very comfortable, spacious studio apartment within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in town. Kerry, the owner, was a one man Chamber of Commerce, arranging a helicopter excursion for us, giving advice on good restaurants and good places to buy pounamu (greenstone - don't miss its beauty and cultural significance).and popping up around town almost everywhere we went (his ubiquitous presence became a joke, but he seems to know everyone in town, which was really helpful in making us feel welcome). We very much enjoyed the small town ambiance of Hokitika, the comfort of the apartment, and the friendliness and good cheer of Kerry and his friends. Highly recommended!
