Great place to hear the waves steps from the sand quite location with the waves and birds as your background noises. Comfy beds and great showers and baths.

Beautiful view of the Tasman Sea, and a lovely balcony from which to enjoy it! Spacious well appointed room.I wish we had been able to stay for longer.

This was a self-catering accommodation so we went out for breakfast to the easily walkable eateries nearby. The room was actually a very comfortable, spacious studio apartment within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in town. Kerry, the owner, was a one man Chamber of Commerce, arranging a helicopter excursion for us, giving advice on good restaurants and good places to buy pounamu (greenstone - don't miss its beauty and cultural significance).and popping up around town almost everywhere we went (his ubiquitous presence became a joke, but he seems to know everyone in town, which was really helpful in making us feel welcome). We very much enjoyed the small town ambiance of Hokitika, the comfort of the apartment, and the friendliness and good cheer of Kerry and his friends. Highly recommended!

Nice simple and clean accommodation in the heart of town. Very friendly staff. I am sure it will be my first choice I will check availability with my next trip to Hokitika.

The house was impeccably clean and well located on the beach. The host also left wonderful treats for us to enjoy, including a fresh loaf of focaccia.

The host was very kind and helpful. They provided a lot of useful information about Hokitika, including great places to eat and visit. The location of the house was excellent—close to the beach and also near the main street. The house was clean and comfortable, and the bed was great, so we had a very relaxing stay. We would love to come back again!
