Cooktown is always the place if you want to have a getaway...
Cooktown is always the place if you want to have a getaway from a busy work lots of adventures that you can do like fishing, the stunning beaches we drove to the Coloured sand beach it was gorgeous plus the history of Cooktown how it was discovered just go to the Grassy Hill lookout 👀

It is a very nice small town with lots of places to visit...
It is a very nice small town with lots of places to visit nearby. A four-wheel drive would be a better option to reach some locations, like Elim Beach with its coloured sands. The esplanade is amazing both at sunrise and sunset. Botanical Garden and Grassy Hill are other places to visit.
