The room was very large and had separate toilet from shower which is convenient. While not advertised we decided to look what was available for breakfast and found out that it was included. Also when we checked in, we were offered 2 drinks that could be used at the bar across the parking lot.

I enjoyed the Shoalhaven Zoo, with a variety of Australian and exotic animals. Treetops adventure climbing is on the zoo grounds, featuring tree and cliff climbing and ziplines. The Navy's Fleet Air Arm museum (free) is adjacent to Nowra airport, a few kilometers out of town, and features both helicopters and fixed-wing airplanes used by the Australian Navy. The Nowra Art Gallery had three exhibitions open when I was there - they were free.

We just used Worragee as a base. Visited Bundanon Art Gallery, Arthur Boyd's gifted property to the local community. Travelled to various beaches with a morning coffee at Huskisson. Best seafood lunch at the Pelican Rocks Seafood Cafe at Greenwell Point. Short walk for dinner at the Good Day Thai in Worragee. Tasty oysters and prawns purchased from the Nowra Fresh Fish and Meat Market for dinner on our second night.

If staying in the Nowra district, consider Bomaderry for your accomodation unless you need to be in walking distance of Nowra CBD facilities. It is only a short drive to most attractions and traffic is much improved (and improving) to/from Nowra with the new bridge and road/ intersection upgrades. Bomaderry Bowling Club is great for meals. Easily accessed, good food, cheap drinks and excellent frendly service from the staff.

Beautiful setting, quite remote, very spacious accommodation for 2 people. Little bit dated, but very clean with very prompt and helpful service on site. Good breakfast or lunch at cafe at top of the drive.

Beach was fabulous.

Beach was fabulous. Club which is fine was within walking distance but a car is certainly required to get anywhere. The club at culburra was really nice and a 15 min drive away. Huskinson bay around a 20 min drive is really fabulous place to visit. As we were seeing family the location suited us fine.

A quiet and picturesque town by the sea.

A quiet and picturesque town by the sea. Possibly a well kept secret from us northerners (Queensland) but I imagine it would be very busy in the warmer and holiday months - possibly overcrowded even. There's plenty of things to do nearby: museums, boat excursions, walking trails and beaches etc. But one could just as easily lounge around on the beach, go fishing or just catch up on sleep and enjoy being away from it all. And Husky does feel away from it all, but everything you could need is either in the town itself, or just a short drive away in Vincentia. And there's no shortage of eating options - from authentic Italian or takeaway fish & chips, you'll be spoiled for choice. I found myself rather partial to the main hotel, which easily surpasses the Australian pub standard for food and drinks. Two nights was all our schedule permitted to stay this time around, but plans are certainly afoot to return for a longer stay.

the property is well equiped, spacious and offers so much, the indoor pool too was perfect, the area is quiet, short stroll to a beautiful beach with clean white sand and pristine water, great little village offering pizza and takeaway, and a short drive to Calalla Bay shops that has everything you need plus more.

A friendly village atmosphere.

A friendly village atmosphere. The main street is attractive and lit with festoon lights at night. All the shop keepers were friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of restaurants, and we were there for a birthday celebration at Peter Eva Italian - wonderful. The Collective had beautifully handmade local products. The natural beauty is wonderful with beautiful walks and cycle tracks.

Spent the weekend in Nowra for the Nowra show to see the horse events. Lovely by the river. Stayed at Quest Apartments. Great location, a short walk to everything. Great raffles at Postmans Tavern. Excellent food at Kohlis Indian restaurant. Lots of nature walks and beaches near by. Beautiful town of Berry only a short drive from Nowra.
