It’s set across four acres, with beautiful landscaping, all sorts of ornaments, trees, shrubs and cosy nooks, well worth strolling around, and a far cry from the usual bitumen car park that’s normally attached to motels. Run and maintained by a very charming and warm woman, who’s well worthwhile getting to know. Great conversationalist with an arresting back story. Highly recommended and very reasonably priced.

Everything was great. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Everything was great. Wished we could have stayed longer. Hosts were absolutely delightful. Place was beautifully clean Variety of well cared for animals in well maintained surroundings. Not there long enough to use the kayaks but would certainly do so if staying longer and in a warmer season. Also would have loved to have thrown out a crab pot or two.We were well prepared for self catering but be aware no shops in the immediate vicinity. Serene bliss. I hate shops. I would love to add photos but they are all of my grandchildren so I’m not prepared to put them up on social media. Sorry.

We didn't stay long as we were heading back home to Queensland.
The break from Sydney was welcomed and the area that the Ocean Breeze Motel is in is close to the beach and cafes/restaurants close by.
Beautiful area to stay and explore.

Circle of Friends, great variety of clothes at reasonable prices.
Enjoy driving around the area, pretty spots by the river banks.
Delicious meals at Yummy Thai, very reasonable & fresh food.
Just get there for dinner before 7.30pm to dine in.
Good selection of cafes with excellent coffee.
Loved going to the Billabong Zoo to see the cute koalas up close
and the many different animals in beautiful enclosures. Staff
Friendly & helpful. Worth a visit while in this area.

We booked for 3 days, but only stayed two because I was not sleeping well. Mainly because the weather was hot.
Pool looked very inviting but did not use.
Limited storage for luggage and clothing.
Like Lake Cathie a lot and would like to stay there a a cooler time of year.

Kangaroos entertained us at sunrise.
The water park must be awesome for kids in summer.
The Ritchie’s IGA just off the services roundabout at Port Macquarie was fantastic.

I have been visiting Port Macquarie since 1970, perhaps...
I have been visiting Port Macquarie since 1970, perhaps since I started at 17 years old it was more with the company of my parents and siblings, in 1974 a week of honeymoon and after that, many visits followed, some just for the day on the way further North, now at 73, my visits are more to remember and to photograph.... I will return.

The town has enough shops, supermarkets and banks, even has its own hospital! We ate at the golf country club and the rsl. Both nice venues, food was average, but eatable. Everything was within walking distance, just need to watch out for uneven road and footpath surfaces. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay there again though.

If you are looking for an ocean view, fresh air and sunshine this is the place. Staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. The pool was beautiful with plenty of space to sit and take in the view. Our apartment was small but had plenty of room for two.

It was on our way to Bryon bay, and it was a good choice to stop at this place to explore.
We ate at the room, area for washing plates and glass was the only thing may look into it, the rest all good.

Koala Rehabilitation Centre, very educational with some surprising new facts about the Bears.
