i Booked this for the stay with my bridemaids the night before my wedding and were greeted with an upgrade to the penthouse which blew my mind ! i was over the moon with the treatment we received . The rooms were amazing ! such a beautiful view of our towns beach and bonus having a cafe right below the building ! Was so easy to get ready for my big day. Thankyou again :)

This is a comfortable, rambling, unique place. An odd mixture of sporting facility, hotel rooms, and short term studios. It’s set across four acres, with beautiful landscaping, all sorts of ornaments, trees, shrubs and cosy nooks, well worth strolling around, and a far cry from the usual bitumen car park that’s normally attached to motels. Run and maintained by a very charming and warm woman, who’s well worthwhile getting to know. Great conversationalist with an arresting back story. Highly recommended and very reasonably priced.

We didn't stay long as we were heading back home to Queensland. The break from Sydney was welcomed and the area that the Ocean Breeze Motel is in is close to the beach and cafes/restaurants close by. Beautiful area to stay and explore.

I have been visiting Port Macquarie since 1970, perhaps since I started at 17 years old it was more with the company of my parents and siblings, in 1974 a week of honeymoon and after that, many visits followed, some just for the day on the way further North, now at 73, my visits are more to remember and to photograph.... I will return.

Three or four really good restaurants to choose from e.g: Stunned Mullet, Whalebone. Great service and food at the Sandbox Cafe on Flynn's Beach. Koala Rehabilitation Centre, very educational with some surprising new facts about the Bears. Well served by Uber.

I booked this room as an overnight stop while driving from...

I booked this room as an overnight stop while driving from Brisbane to Sydney with my family. After a long day on the road, we expected a comfortable place to rest, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had. The room had a connected children's bedroom with bunk beds, but there was no air conditioner or heating in that room. The only air conditioner was installed in the main bedroom, leaving the children's room extremely cold throughout the night. As a result, my younger child caught a cold and developed a cough. To make matters worse, the blankets provided looked very old, heavily worn, and unclean. They certainly did not give us confidence that they had been properly maintained or replaced for many years. The bathroom facilities were also unacceptable. There was no hand soap at the bathroom sink. We eventually found a bottle of hand wash inside the shower area, mounted so high on the wall that my young children could not even reach it. This is both inconvenient and poorly thought out for families. The sink tap was old, leaking continuously, and appeared dirty and poorly maintained. The air conditioner in the main bedroom was installed directly above the bed and produced loud, continuous noise throughout the night. Imagine trying to sleep with a noisy machine operating just above your head. I barely slept at all, and the next morning I had to continue driving a long distance while exhausted, which is a serious safety concern. Overall, this was by far the worst hotel/motel room I have ever stayed in. The room was poorly maintained, uncomfortable, and completely failed to provide the basic standard of cleanliness and comfort expected from paid accommodation. I am genuinely surprised that Booking.com recommends this property. I strongly advise other travellers, especially families with children, to avoid wasting their money here. There are undoubtedly much better options available.

Although we didn't stay very long, only an overnight stay as we were on our way to Queensland, what we saw was absolutely beautiful . The beach was clean and plenty of car parking..found a fantastic caravan park right on the beach, will stay there on our return visit for a longer time.

One of the best hotels in the area. Rooms are very clean and modern, had a nice balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Bathroom have all the toiletries. WiFi is strong and reliable. Air con is very new and works well. Location is fantastic and a delicious restaurant onsite. Free parking on the premises. It wasn’t cheap but you get what you pay for - it’s the perfect getaway!
