Harrington is a sleepy retirement village.

Harrington is a sleepy retirement village. If you love quite, walks along the beach, pub food and just relax, this is the town to be. I had one of the best toasties in Harrington though and the coffee wasnt to shaby either.

I went up for a short visit after 8 years away, just to see what had changed. The whole vibe was a little different from what I remembered, but the pub stay was perfect. Central, safe and clean. The beaches were exactly as I remembered (amazing), but the weather wasn't being nice enough for a swim. Short trip into Crowdy Head (5mins) beach and the lighthouse was a highlight. Food at the pub was great - recommended!!

Well located, great access to the riverside walk, golf course and tavern. Short drive to great beaches. Spacious room & bathroom, lovely outdoor courtyard with access to the well maintained pool. We had a lovely stay.

Harrington is one of my favorite destinations due to...

Harrington is one of my favorite destinations due to offering both the river and beach- Crowdy Head. We love the food options, cafes in town and the Surf club, as well as the quiet and flat streets for bike riding with the kids. We will continue visiting!

A lovely spot but does rely a lot on physical fitness.

A lovely spot but does rely a lot on physical fitness. Those with difficulty walking very far would miss out on the best spots. Crowdy Head is just a short drive and beach and views are amazing but there is no access to Harrington beach if you are unable to walk a fair way.

Harrington is a quiet seaside hamlet.

Harrington is a quiet seaside hamlet. Apart from the disgruntled worker at the convenience store all other retail workers were pleasant. The pub was a lovely surprise. And the club happily accommodated a birthday event on short notice. The walking paths were great and the interesting "totem polls" were a visual extra but perhaps needed some explanation.

Best position, extremely clean and beautiful staff happy to help. We will be back for sure. Also the most comfortable bed I’ve had in 10 years of staying at 5 star hotels!! Pool is gorgeous and great set up for kids. Plus there’s no place closer to the beach. Don’t miss this property.

We just slept for one night on our way to QLD. Room and great. Late checkin arranged. Room has a great size and very comfortable. I wish we had more time to spend in the area and in the hotel
