Nice workers, strong wifi, clean towels and bedclothes. No dust, spacious bathroom.
There was no elevator, but it's not a problem, the guy from the reception helped to carry the suitcase to the 3rd floor! Perfect location - Nearby to the sea, 5-7 minutes by walk, 15 minutes by walk to the airport. If you cross the road, there is a store witn all what you need.

FinlandWe chose to stay in Sarafovo and in Sunny Sands because we had a late flight to Burgas, but ended up being pleasantly surprised with the area. There was a nice beach with nice restaurant and cheaper sunbeds than on other beaches. The short road to the beach had many other restaurants, shops etc. The room was also nice. It had comfortable beds, kitchen area and you could keep the doors to the balconies (yes, we had two) open because they had good mosquito net doors. This was very good value accommodation. And of course the best part was the location: it was walking distance from both the airport and the beach.

We liked local brewery Papa beer.
We liked local brewery Papa beer. We recommend Free guided tour - daily at 10 o'clock in front of the info center. Sahara lounge on the beach offers good food and drinks for affordable prices and at the same time you can relax on the loungers. It's worth to visit UNESCO site Nessebar, 35 km from Burgas.
If you are cat lover, you'll see them all the time.

A wonderful place to relax in the summer. Good service, the owners of the apartment are wonderful people. Everything was beautiful. A very nice sunny apartment, equipped with everything you need. There are beautiful pools in the complex. Everything you need for a relaxing stay.

A cozy small town, full of greenery and relax areas. Located on an peninsula, it it surrounded by sea shores and beaches. Many restaurants of good food and service. Many groceries where you can buy all needed. A good place for family vacations

A quiet and peaceful place for relaxation, yet close enough...
A quiet and peaceful place for relaxation, yet close enough to the sea, beautiful beaches in Pomorie, Nesseber, Sunny beach and around, as well as Burgas, so you won't miss anything. One week stay in not enough to explore all around. Definitely visiting next summer again.

The area feels rather isolated and would benefit from more tourist development, such as better swimming facilities and improved transportation options. Overall, Bulgaria does not yet feel like a well-developed tourist destination.

Burgas is an interesting eastern European/Balkan country...
Burgas is an interesting eastern European/Balkan country that hugs the Black Sea. It has a wonderful Sea Garden approximately 7 kn long with extensive walking paths and a paved bicycle path to neighboring Sarafavo. The city, like all of Bulgaria, is rough of the edges. Much of the architecture in Burgas is a mix Communist brutalism evidenced by the with the monolithic apartment buildings built for the "workers. which look like they might fall down. This is contrasted with classical European architecture in the old part of the city. Burgas is pock marked with neighborhood restaurants, coffee shops and fast food eateries. The center is comprised of two main pedestrian boulevards dappled with shops, stores, restaurants and bars. The best thing to do is wonder off of Bogoridi and Alexandrovskaya and explore the secret gems. From Bogoridi and many other streets you cross a main thoroughfare to enter the Sea Garden and make your way to the beaches of the Black Sea where you can lounge, swim and imbibe, as desired. Then make you way to a seaside restaurant or a traditional venue like the Old Captain's Pub.

Both of us are well into our retirement which meant Pomorie...
Both of us are well into our retirement which meant Pomorie was perfect for both of us. The town centre and most of rest of town was in very easy walking distance from Suny Bay Hotel.
We used a number of restaurants' all served good food especially Fish fresh caught.

The guarded beach is very very small, muddy, with stones and algae (never seen such a mud, your feet sink in it when you are in the water, very unpleasant); all children from a nearby camp visit it (I am not against children, but in my view they should not mix with other people, they have their own guardians, own activities, etc.)
The other part of this beach is taken by water jets.
There is an unguarded beach which is bigger and cleaner, but apart from the fact that there is no lifeguard, it is situated under a falling slope, there are warning signs and you feel like the stones will start falling on your head any minute; no cafe, WC, decks or umbrellas, of course

Some areas can be a little shabby, but there is ongoing development and regeneration. The main shopping area area is good and it has an excellent beach, I could easily live here. there are plenty of facilities and things to do.

A good selection of restaurants with good food and drink at a reasonable price. A nice buzz in the old town at night.
From our location, bikes were essential for getting into the old town along the promenade.
Roads around our location very poor - no footpaths and rough surface on lanes.
A lot of unfinished abandoned looking buildings in the area.
