The location to the airport it was very close,about 5 min with the car. The all apartment was great, near to gaz station, coffee and snacks, the host was very kind and warm welcome,he respond to my reservation right way and I got the key in less than 15 min. and great value to stay in Varna.

Great Location and perfect for a family. Easy to get from the airport. The hosts provide a shuttle and helped us order food after our evening flight. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Apartment is brand new and very comfortable. The apartment has fresh mineral water, rain shower, and temperature control in each room. While we didn’t get to take advantage of the pool or play ground, we would happily book here again for a longer stay in Varna.

The apartment looks like in the photos and is conveniently located not far from the Grand Mall But, it is far from the center. But because there are no big traffic jams in the city - it was not difficult to get to the city center. It was extremely difficult to find a parking space in the city center. The host met us near the apartment building, so self check-in is not possible. We were always able to find a parking spot near the apartment, though it does feel like it comes down to luck. The bed in the living room is a fold-out, and there’s a coffee machine (for coffee beans only). The air conditioner works well. The host doesn't speak English at all, but uses a translator. She tries her best. We forgot some things and she immediately sent me a message on viber, so a plus is that she is responsive, even if there is a language barrier. As We understand, she lives nearby, but it didn't create a problem for us.

Varna was a great place to be in the previous years when we went there. This year we found that the cleanliness was not at high standards anymore, as well as the food and leisure prices that went up at least double compared to 2025 (I understand they switched to Euro, but there was no conversion from Leva to Euro, they just replaced the currency symbol). Probably the last time we will visit Bulgaria sea side due to lower overall quality and higher prices, such a shame!

Very crowded over the w/e as of friday and the poll and pool area are too small for all guests Would not recommend the hotel part which is just above the outdoor pool area if one want to relax However great during the week in every aspect

We began our trip in downtown Varna.

We began our trip in downtown Varna. This area is more modern, beautiful, and calm. And still, it is close to anything that you might need from downtown Varna (such as the Farmer's Market or the clothing stores).

Too overbuilt.

Too overbuilt. The beach line is 15-20 meters wide, 4 rows of beach chairs (less if there is a bar built). Prices are doubled for everything - supermarkets, street vendors, without bringing any additional value (random pack of snacks is 2 EUR in Varna - 4 EUR in Golden Sands). All of the restaurants were completely empty even though the resort itself was stacked with people, I assume because of the prices. We were there on an all-inclusive trip but this still made an impression - 30 tables available, 2 taken. Price for 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella is 18 EUR, 6 EUR each.

It's a nice little place but we did only get some food there...

It's a nice little place but we did only get some food there, we are not so interested in these things although the trip from Sofia till the destination was a pleasant one with some amazing Seaview's. In the little village where we stayed was a restaurant, we sat down there and enjoyed a good meal for an excellent price. There are campings and resorts close by but compared to Nessebar, Pomorie etc the is quiet and what we like. Watch the speedbumps when you drive to Varna.

A city with a good beach.

A city with a good beach. You get beach life together with city life on foot and at the same time. Not much traffic in the old and central part. The same around the beach. No big roads to cross in that part. Drivers seem to drive carefully considering pedestrians. There are tourists in the city to be seen but in a more discreet way. It's more like an ordinary city, not overcrowded by tourists. People are calm and friendly, and in a way humble. You feel as a visitor as a welcome guest.

This is no resort, it'a a location full of hotels and that's all. Nothing to do, nowhere to go, nothing to see. Small patches of beaches, allways over-full and expensive. There is nothing to "like". Go elsewhere.

The resort is, on my opinion, the best on the Bulgarian sea...

The resort is, on my opinion, the best on the Bulgarian sea shore, for our generation (60+). Our trip to Golden Sands was comfortable by our personal car. Parking (paid) difficult to manage when the hotel is almost full.

The city is very safe, I was travelling with my 7 yo daughter. People are extremly nice and calm. It's a bit hard to communicate in English but they really want to help so will find the way to understand you and share info you are looking for. Great Archeological Museum! Public transport works and drivers are very helpful!

My Wife & I went for 5 Nights for my Wife's Birthday and our...

My Wife & I went for 5 Nights for my Wife's Birthday and our 25th Wedding Anniversary after we settled in our room we went down for the Evening Meal there was SO much Choice, and the Waiters where amazing we had a perfect 1st evening, when we got back to our room there was a Bottle of Champagne 🍾 and a Basket 🧺 of mixed fruit, complements of the Hotel for our Anniversary, such a nice touch to start to our holiday. The rest of our stay was Brilliant, and super relaxing, highly Recommended 😎
