Tina was really helpful and arranged our shuttles and train tickets without a fuss. So easy to deal with and the location is central to the 2 day ride. Secure parking, but more importantly, secure building to leave your bikes charging overnight!

I somehow had booked for the night after the day our intended arrival. Though she was not expecting us, the manager, Mihi, quicly made some adjustments and welcomed my son and I in. Needless to say, my error was quickly, and unhestitaingly, managed by Mihi, and in we went. The Left Bank is a beautifully renovated very old building and the interior is absolutely beautiful. It was like being in a Victorian age bedroom with period furnishings! What a wonderful experience. Our car was locked inside a secure area which Mihi directed us to and again opened in the morning to recover our car. Could not have been more pleased with the stay, it was perfect!

Luxury Countryside Retreat is a wonderful place to stay to explore NZ's Northland! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful farm views and the very comfortable 2-bedroom apartment. It had all the facilities and comforts we needed to feel at home (full kitchen, roomy lounge, large windows, comfortable beds), and in addition the pool was a delight after a day of touring. Felicity and Don were warm and welcoming With all of that, we think it is an exceptional value and we highly recommend staying there.

It was beautiful, peaceful, clean & spacious. Leanne & Geoff were so welcoming & helpful. Leanne shared some of their home grown delicious fruit & vegetables. See picture. Geoff drove Dan to pick up our rental. Anything we needed they were there to help. Awesome!! Close to town but far enough away!

The property is absolutely gorgeous, it’s like stepping inside a private collection of memorabilia from all over the world and times. To not mention the tranquil view at the back of the house facing the river. Micheal and Chris had a spotless taste in decorating their beautiful house. They have a long list of recommended restaurants nearby, super helpful in organizing your day and make the holiday the best one. Our favorite thou, we must say, was the ginger cat, the sweetest ever.

There was no faults I've stayed there a couple of times with my mum when she was alive and she was very fussy she use to say it was a flash motel so that says everything about the motel. No photos taken it was a all day Kupa Haka competition from schools from Whangarei to Kaitaia competing

The Left Bank Hotel is the jewel in the crown for this small town - a lovely place to stay. We did the Twin coast cycle ride and stayed two nights. There were some kids doing burn-outs when we arrived and it's obvious that there isn't a lot of money about. Having said that we met some wonderful locals over the two days that we were in the area, and their stories and commitment to the cycle trail were truly inspiring! When we left we decided to stop in at the Ngawha hot springs, just outside town. this is a great complex and well worth the detour!

Loved the stay.

Loved the stay. Hosts were great and accomodation was just what we needed. Small little town, however we we were not far from where our occasion was taking place on the Saturday before returning to Auckland.

Kaikohe is home for us.

Kaikohe is home for us. Our whānau and friends ade there bit i prefer to have my own space to come away to after a big day with my whānau (a place to just chill and relax). Kaikohe has everything you need walking distance from laundrettes to somewhere to buy groceries. Also had some really cool places to go explore in and outside of town, Monument Hill in Kaikohe, bike trails, Ngawha Springs for a nice soak in the natural thermal pools, go for a drive to see Tane mahuta, drive to Opononi. Plenty places to explore.
