A beautiful spot with a nice view and very close to ocean beach. Bed was super comfy and kitchen was well stocked. Shower was great. Appreciated a towel dryer and shampoo and conditioner. The front door expand open up so we felt we were outside even though it was raining. The hosts were so friendly and we had an enjoyable conversation. They have fun and friendly dogs if you are missing your pets at home.

We stayed for one night twice as part of our road trip to Gisborne. The motel rooms were like brand new, spotlessly clean and very roomy. The windows and doors are double glazed, so it was quiet despite being on a busy road. Everything we needed was available. We rate this motel as the best we have stayed in.
