Awesome guesthouse close to the beach.
The owner, Raquel, has been really nice to us from the very minute we entered her home, up to the end. Giving us tips about the whereabouts and preparing fresh breakfast.
Too bad we couldn't stay longer.

The room was very quiet and clean. The host is super attentive and hospitable. Guests can also enjoy a beautiful pool within a gated community. The location is convenient and close to popular tourist towns, as well as the Alvor beach. We would come back if we stay in the Algarve region again. We definitely reccommend this authentic place and its wonderful hosts.

The best part of Alvor is the restaurants, all reasonably priced and superb sea food. It's a small white washed fishing village.
We went for a menu of the day at Alvor wine for 14 euros. We had a pate starter and some fresh seabas fillets plus a dessert!

Everything was wonderful including the hosts, property, room, location, parking, fresh local foods for breakfast, and surrounding towns full of shopping , restaurants, sight seeing and activities. The value for your money was phenomenal. I wish all hosts were as kind, attentive, helpful, caring, and concerned for all of our needs. The breakfast choices were wonderful and both days we didn’t eat lunch because we weren’t hungry after the large, delicious breakfast.

Very nice quiet village not far from A22 and N125. Good eating and drinking, though this is not a late-night centre! It's only about 20 mins to some good beaches and handy for a trip uphill to Monchique.

We had a fantastic time in Portimão.
We had a fantastic time in Portimão. The town offers the perfect blend of beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and a relaxed atmosphere. Praia da Rocha is stunning, with golden sands and breathtaking coastal views. The local people were friendly and welcoming, and there was plenty to see and do, from the marina and waterfront to nearby boat trips and coastal walks. The weather was excellent throughout our stay, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing holiday. We would highly recommend Portimão and would happily return in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very peaceful!
Very peaceful! Relaxed pace of life, fantastic café within very close walking distance of our house and such good value. Beautiful winding streets and colours and flowers everywhere.
Selection of restaurants and bars as well as a couple of tourist shops.

Very busy little town and very noisy but with a few bars and restaurants.
Just going a couple of hundred meters through the town it's much quieter. Great little locals bar where we watched the Portugal game - very friendly.

Highly recommend this cozy cottage just outside of Portimao. The owners are lovely people and they make sure the guests have everything they need. The apartment is newly renovated, spotlessly clean, comfortable, absolutely gorgeous gardens and pool, 15-20 minutes to Portimao and the beach, and perfect for a place to really relax.

Great beach, the ocean's water is clean and with good temperature to take a lot of baths and swim. Great restaurants, great bars, and I felt very safe by night, we always saw police officers in the street, by night. No problems at all. Locals are kind and we have a great time there. Is the third time in Portimão and we like it a lot!!! Great for families with kids as well.

Ferragudo is a beautiful fishing village with steep cobbled lanes and steps and amazing sunsets over the estuary to Portimao.
The main square is full of good restaurants. The only thing missing was a good quality local supermarket.
The beaches and castle are stunning!
