The cottage is in a perfect location, with panoramic seaviews. We could hear the little penguins going up the beach right outside the house each night. So serene and beautiful! Kitchen very well set up for real cooking. The weather was cold, but we were kept warm with heater in the living area and warm doonas and blankets on each of the beds.

Perfect location for visiting Kangaroo Island. A cabin with a nice view and as a bonus some koalas on the property. The owner tries to be sustainable and asks for collecting water for plants and birdbath!! From Thursday to Sunday there is a beachcafe open at Emu bay and Lavender Farm is a must😉.

Panoramic view from all front windows of the whole beach. Premises are a little dated but not in a bad way. The overall impression is beach shack casual. Wallabies on the front lawn, penguins on the beach. All round easy living in large house for big family. We enjoyed a full moon on a totally clear night shining the full length of the bay.
