Breakfast and location were perfect for a stay in Robin Hood's Bay. The rooms were very comfortable and the food was wonderful. Claire is an excellent host!

The location is absolutely perfect and it was great to have parking available on site without charge. The room was spotless and well decorated, as was the rest of the B&B. There was WiFi available and a Smart TV in the room too. Breakfast was incredible and cooked perfectly each morning - we loved speaking with Mike too who hosted us each morning, he was very kind and very welcoming.

It was well stocked with utensils, toilet roll provided, clean and really warm.

Lovely Cottage in the heart of Robin Hood's Bay. Excellent facilities and great communications regarding check in and check out. All the amenities explained within the property. Absolutely loved our stay and will be back again. 5 star and many thanks.

We loved our stay at Bramblewick Cottage. The cottage was spotless and full of charm. It has a perfect position for the pubs and restaurants as well as walks on the beach to Boggle Hole. Can't fault the cottage or location and we will be returning. Thankyou Emma. x

We have been visiting RHB regularly over the past 35 years, first with our own children and more recently with grandchildren. All I need say, in respect of Holmedale Cottage, is that it is the best accommodation we have stayed in to date.

Excellent location, providing a cosy base to explore the coast. All basic necessities are covered and the place is tastefully furnished. The bed is also super comfy! Would definitely recommend and be more than happy to stay here again.

Robin Hood's Bay is a lovely spot and I would highly recommend Thorpe Green House. Janet and Steve were wonderful hosts and the room was large, clean, very comfortable and (despite the weather) very warm. The breakfasts - including home baked bread - were also excellent. On the day I was due to leave I was caught out by a sudden, heavy snowfall which made local roads, including the A171 to Scarborough, impassable. Janet and Steve very kindly offered to put me up for one more night without charge - thank you so much!

It is an amazing big old building. Staying in that building was almost as much fun as visiting Whitby. Terrific location!

Fantastic location on the cliff close to the beach and harbor with lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs. Amazing bar, nice cosy café with outside patio, good food, spacious room, nice friendly helfull staff.

We had first visited Sneaton Castle with friends for an evening meal and were so impressed we decided to return for stay as a base for an overnight visit to Whitby. We only needed a double room but were most impressed by the quality of all the fixtures and fittings and although the room was quite snug, it was large enough for one night. The check-in was seamless assisted by the very friendly reception staff who lead us to our room. After a relaxing couple of hours in the bar we dined in the Restaurant where once again the staff were most friendly and keen to ensure that my wife's dairy-free dietary requirements were fully met. The Menu, whilst not expansive, has something for everyone and we enjoyed a nicely relaxed meal of superb quality in the nicely decorated Restaurant. Breakfast was also a pleasant experience, with lovely fresh food served by cheerful serving staff. Check-out was quite simple and rounded of an excellent stay at Sneaton Castle which we couldn't fault in any way. Well done all round.
