Being right on the beach is the most wonderful thing about this hotel. So easy to swim in the sea and the ferry service into Salcombe town leaves from right next door to the hotel where there is also a kayak rental service. It was also lovely to eat out on the terrace overlooking the sea. The food was consistently wonderful and the hotel room was really comfortable.

Friendly hotel right on the beach. Sea tractor took you to little ferry to take you to Salcombe. The food was delicious and staff helpful.

Gorgeous location, super clean, amazing large comfy beds (most comfy hotel bed ever stayed in). Beautiful decor and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely spa area and pool. Most amazing location right on the beach where you can rent kayaks. The spa team are lovely and made special effort to fit us in during our stay.

Breakfast was lovely and included in the price,location was amazing right on the beach,couldn't of found a more relaxing place to stay especially as it was our 29th wedding anniversary and wanted a relaxing few days together...loved it and all the staff were so friendly and helpful.

the location is lovely, right on the beach at South Sands-storm Kathleen was a bit too close for comfort at times and the car park and walking paths were flooded so we had to take our shoes off to get back into the hotel, but I suppose this is not a common event. Lovely staff and welcome G&T in the room. Very clean. Lovely Spa area, although prices are a bit steep.

Location was perfect, right on the beach with fantastic walks from the door. Staff were thoughtful, kind and helpful. Room was cosy, with a large bathroom. Every comfort was considered.
