What an incredible location. Every turn you take, there is more beauty. A variety of types of rooms and buildings available.

Hill top room is new, clean, comfortable, has modern design. Beach has enough chairs for all, chill atmosphere, perfectly clean. Sea view gorgeous! Water in the sea incredibly clear. Free pick up from the pier, free kayaks, free tea and instant coffee with snacks at lobby in the afternoon. Restaurant food is good and felt safe to eat. 1 dinner is $40-50 for 3 people. Price for the stay is fair 100%!

All the staffs are friendly, especially the girl named Jeem at front desk and Joy from restaurant. Every time they see you, they always greet with a lovely smile on the face. The breakfast is amazing . I like the part you can choose from the menu. We tried every single dish during our stay. Yummy

Great location on the beach, walk straight off the pier into reception, friendly staff, delicious food at the restaurant and a nice breakfast included, motorcycle hire available, quite and peaceful location with no noise in the area, we would stay here again.

Amazing place on one of the most beautiful beaches ever! Organized transfer from and to the ferry free of charge and hassle free, very easy to organize. The accommodation was nice, clean, beachfront but even more importantly the service at check-in, bar & restaurant amazing - everyone always in a good mood, kind, food nice, drinks cold, free snorkeling equipment,...

Wonderful staff, worked hard to make it an exceptional stay. Enjoyed the beachfront bungalow! Massage on beach was fantastic.

The view from the pool is spectacular! Rooms are spacious and clean, food is great from the restaurant! Would stay here again!

The room was spacious, good shower, air con, balcony with chairs and free coffees and cold water. The garden was immaculate and well maintained by Jay and the beach was cleaned every day. The food at the restaurant was good and not very expensive. It was a very good place to stay right on the beach!

I like everything about this resort and Koh Mak. We had a wonderful time there with amazing sunset. Easy to transfer from port to resort by tuktuk. 50 baht/ person. Book with resort before your arrival. Breakfast is very very basic:-) The beach is so transparence and island is so calm. Staffs are nice and helpful.

The guesthouse is perfect, I liked everything about it. The room was beautiful, pool area was beautiful, the restaurant had good ambiance and everyone was really nice.

We stayed here many time before. It was very clean and comfortable room, very well located and the terrace rooms come with a beautiful sea view. The staffs are friendly and helpful especially ‘Name’ and ‘LeeLee’ they are super friendly. There are also nice options for breakfast (8:00-10:00).

The villa was perfect, breakfast was nice, the staff were really helpful and kind. The private beach was pleasant.

Cherry is an amazing host, very friendly and welcoming. She is the main character of this place. Breakfast is above average, everyday she puts effort into making a fresh and hearty breakfast. The rooms are maybe a little small but totally fine, you will spend most of the time outside anyway. Location is great with restaurants and bars in walking distance. Something you have to try: Cherry's coconut pancake and mango sticky rice she sells outside the hotel in the evening, very delicious!!!

We have just spent the most amazing ten days at this resort which must be one of the best on the island judging by all the visitors it receives. Our bungalow was massive with a separate bath area and then shower area plus a lovely large veranda with chairs and sun beds. The accommodation was spotless, attractive, spacious and serviced every morning. The bed was very large, efficient air con and very well appointed and maintained. The beach and grounds were very well maintained and attractive with a shower, sun beds and kayaks. The restaurant was excellent with a great choice of breakfast, everything you could possibly wish for and throughout the day it received many visitors for lunch as it has such a good reputation. We ate here every evening also as there was so much excellent choice and quality exceptional. The real secret to this place in my opinion though is the truly wonderful staff who were so friendly and fun to be with. The power house really is a charming lady called Jill who can fix or arrange or advise on anything you need. She arranged scooters and in house massages for us which was amazing and all transportation or trips can be arranged with her. It really was all the lovely staff that made our ten days so special and we would thoroughly recommend this place, this was our fourth Koh Mak visit but our first to this place and will remain our accommodation of choice in the future.

Property although a touch dated, overall is still rates as excellent. Villas, the grounds, the staff , food was excellent, only had breakfast and lunches but all great.

Choo is great and helpful. Place is already beautiful but his kindness makes everything better.

From the very beginning when I arrived, the owner Kerstin and manager Peak were extremely helpful and kind. They assisted me immediately with any questions or concerns I had. The property is located very close to a lovely beach with sunset views and a wonderful sushi restaurant. The grounds are lush with tropical plants and trees, which provides homes for the most lovely and melodious birds. I enjoyed the ambiance provided by the nature so much. The swimming pool is also fantastic. The room itself was very well decorated with artworks and very comfortable furnishings. Everything is well maintained and kept clean by the attentive staff. I was delighted with the four days I enjoyed there:)

Incredible location, amazing staff, truly a great place to stay and hard to leave

All rooms are literally a couple of meters from the sea. You'll fall asleep with the sound of the waves. The beautiful, artisanal, wooden stilt houses integrate wonderfully in the surroundings. The resort, located on the southern end of the island, is far off from the hustle and bustle, and is family-run by a couple of adorable Thai ladies. This resort, despite being very basic, has a genuine, Thai charm and might just be the place you'll miss the most coming back home from your holiday.

Best place we stayed in Thailand!!! And we travel for almost 2 month. Clean and quien. Huge room with everything needed. Huge and butiful shower. Comfortable bed. River vier and so many stars at night! Quiet and peaceful but also walkable distance to everything - restaurant, shop, bike rental. Amazing team. We came for 1 night and stay for 2 more nights.
