Beach Hotels in Hermanus

Lovely overnight on our way to Port Elizabeth. The staff was very communicative and welcomed us heartily. The apartment was clean and spacious, with everything we needed to help ourselves to a meal if we chose to. The local restaurants were walkable and the walking path in front was a great bonus. We had the ocean view which I recommend.

Stayed only one night and wished we stayed for longer. Great location to explore Hermanus foreshore by foot. Team is great. Rooms are large, clean and make you feel like you are in the French countryside.

Got a very warm welcome on our arrival. Great care was taken to ensure we were well informed about the property and what it offered.

This is our fourth visit and once again we had a wonderful stay at Hermanus Lodge on the Green. Friendly, welcoming and attentive staff set the tone from the moment we arrived. The accommodation is spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The fireplace in the snug lounge and the breakfast room were a treat in winter. Looking forward to our next visit.

The breakfast was made to order and very many options, our hosts were so hospitable and even assisted us with all the equipment we required for our picnic down at the beach !!

Located just on the edge of Hermanus right beside ficks pool, they had just opened the new section of the hotel and the new rooms are fabulous but what makes this hotel even better is the staff.

The Penthouse suite was amazing! Great views and the room was huge with loads of stunning bit! The staff were excellent!! Friendly and helpful! Very professional and the breakfast was great!

Like the intimate feeling of the place

A specious, beautifully appointed apartment with all the necessary creature comforts. Ideally situated within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and amenities. Great ocean views were appreciated as was the presence of many whales in the bay.

We were shown round the property by Les, who was very friendly and recommended local places to visit. The room was brightly decorated with lovely pictures and decorations making it more personal. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. We had our own private courtyard with chairs, table and braai. Our property was attached to another shady garden, with a beautiful 200 year old wild olive tree, leading to the pool. The pool has plenty of sun loungers and was very peaceful. It is walking distance to the new harbour restaurants and a short drive into the main town. For the more energetic, it is easy to get onto the cliff walkway and walk into town, about 11kms.

The location and the staff were fantastic and it was a perfect sized room for our group (one couple and two friends). We would stay there again in a heartbeat! The staff went above and beyond to help us and were really accommodating.

Location, great room and breakfast

The hotel staff (especially Jainesha -I hope I spelled her name correctly!) were very nice and professional. I got a massage at the hotel and it was a very good experience too. Highly recommended this hotel for anyone looking for a high quality hotel and welcoming staff.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything.

Having booked and stayed at numerous airbnb apartments all over Cape Town......this one stands out as one of the best for sure. From the moment we were met outside to collect the keys.... the stunning view of the ocean as you walk into the apartment and literally every thing you could need was there as part of the booking. Even small things like nespresso coffee.... milk.....teas etc made such a difference. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil you could possibly need. The location of the apartment is perfect in that it's not too close to the central strip but still easy to get to, a 3 min uber (R40). We went during whale season, so the added boost of seeing so many whales just made this place a must visit.

It is amazing, we got engaged here and we came back a second time.. Always the best place to stay in Hermanus!
