We highly, highly recommend the Pebble and we can’t wait to visit beautiful Halifax and our new life long friend, Elizabeth! Gourmet breakfasts and complimentary port wine await any traveler who is lucky enough to stay at the Pebble! We have stayed at many Bed and Breakfasts in Canada and the USA and Elizabeth and the Pebble is by far the best!! It is superb! Please do yourself a favor and book today!! Lastly, Elizabeth doesn’t just enjoy keeping a beautiful home with the most luxurious decor and bedding, but she truly enjoys pampering each individual visitor! While at the same time, she enjoys cooking and serving with all her heart!! Truly fabulous!! We cannot recommend the Pebble enough!!

I chose this place because rates in Halifax were sky high this weekend. The posting looked acceptable and the price was lower than I hoped for. I knew was I was getting into. The location is not in Halifax but a nearby suburb. It was super easy and quick to get into town - 15 minutes. It is in an extremely safe, beautiful looking neighborhood. You do need a car to get to most places, but I have one. Parking in the driveway is provided. One evening it got cold. I couldn't find a way to heat the room so I messaged the owner. Within one or two minutes a heater was at our door. It warmed the room very quickly to the point I had to lower the heat. It was very cosy. The room is small, but the ad says so. It has everything you need however. A refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, private bathroom with soap, towels. There is a small hallway upon entering the room which was the perfect place to store our luggage and keep it out of the way. I never actually saw the owner except once in passing where we waved hello to each other. He totally respected guest privacy I would not hesitate staying here again and totally recommend this place.
