Exceptional place for a stay in Husavik, very clean, very well equipped, easy check in process with all the info provided, fantastic location close to the town centre and the water front. The kitchen was great to prepare a meal and super clean.

It’s quaint right outside of town. We were there in October and drove through a blizzard (literally) and got there a little late so we didn’t see anyone but a cute little sticky with a room key with our name. The shared kitchen had everything needed to cook a nice meal from the grocery store just 1/2 mile away. We had room 4 which had a great picture window where we did see northern lights. Now it is a converted cow shed so not a typical hotel so go with mindset of a unique Iceland experience.

Wonderful little old house in the middle of Husavik. Perfect location walking distance from the harbour and city centre. Plenty of space. Very cosy.

Breathtaking views- clean, comfortable. Location on the water - we saw humpbacks in evening and orcas in morning with fresh brewed coffee. The family that owns is friendly and relaxed! Lots of large washrooms- this was never an issue. We had small car and had no trouble with road to house.

The location was remote, half an hour to a city, 15 mins to a tiny town with a convenience story vs. a grocery store. But that suited me well. I like remote locations. Very peaceful and quiet - incredible view of mountain, river and meadows around me. Farmhouse behind the guesthouses far enough back that never heard anything from them. Never met the staff but they were super fast responsive to any questions or changes I made via the Booking.com messaging app. Little perfect kitchenette, bathroom (private!) and bed all in one cosy but not too cramped guesthouse. No shared facilities which is rare in this price point of Iceland guesthouses. I will return to Buholl 1 Guesthouse!
