The Elda House exceeded our expectations and was our favorite guesthouse we stayed at in Iceland. The facilities were very clean, staff was friendly, and the location was perfect for staying near Myvatan. We loved the concept of sharing a kitchen and bathroom with one other room. We also got to experience the magic of the Northern Lights right outside of our front door. It was truly a great stay and we plan to come back on our next trip!

Our unit at the guesthouse was newly remodeled and everything was very nice and clean. All of the furniture and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were well stocked and excellent. We appreciate the quality workmanship that was employed. We had minimal interaction with staff there but they were both friendly and professional.

We loved our stay here. We were a group of 16 people, some stayed at the cottages and some others at the shared rooms. Bathrooms were super clean and modern, the beds were comfy and the facilities very clean. We had breakfast and everything was delicious. We even bought handmade sweaters at the best price we could get. Loved the farm vibe of the place.
