B&Bs in Whanganui

The hostel was really lovely and run by lovely staff. We stayed in one of the rooms off the back courtyard which was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of areas to sit and chat or eat. The kitchen was large and well equipped.

Everything. Private, magical gardens, upscale, well appointed plus. The hosts have thought of every need before you will. The hosts,Lois and Alan are such nice people. Wish we could have stayed longer. Wow…what a breakfast ❤️.

Loved the location and the Decore.

Gumnut House was the most comfortable and warmest accommodation we stayed in during our trip. Unfortunately, we encountered stormy weather and our flights were repeatedly cancelled. When I thought we could not continue our trip, I contacted Maryann. She did not hesitate to cancel our reservation for free, which was very kind! Finally, we caught up with our travel plans and rebooked Gumnut House. Maryann and Barry were very friendly and welcoming, their house was very clean and the garden was very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and relaxed. And the breakfast prepared by Maryann was very rich. Thank you very much!

Nice home with lots of room both inside & out. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Nice location, close to everything.

The breakfasts were very nice each morning and it was a real treat for me, as i didn't have to cook it. Andrew and Penny are lovely people, very knowledgeable on a lot of varied topics, great to listen to about all sorts of things. They went above and beyond expectations.
