I loved the location. There are hiking trails where you can do bird watching and go thru the wine yards. There are facilities for kayaking too, everything included (paddles, kayaks, and lifesavers). The stay includes a tour of the process and degustation of wine.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. Nuno and Cristina were the most increadible hosts, even before we arrived. Nuno collected us from the train station on our arrival (which was so helpful in the heat) and also dropped us back when we left. We ate home cooked dinner both evenings and the food (home grown tomatos, cucmber, olive oil), wine and prt (again, home produced) and service was superb. The pool was perfect and the room comfortable and clean. We would definitely return.

Gorgeous surroundings and sunrise was spectacular

It is a modern building with very big , nice and very comfortable rooms with front view to the vineyards hills and a little village. The large sitting area is bright and feels welcoming, the swimming pool is huge and has the same view as the rooms. The reception staff (Ruth) is lovely and makes you feel very welcome. Breakfast is great and a short drive to Armamar will take you to nice little places to have dinner. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Its an old farm house with tons of charm. We were welcomed by Sophia and her gang of happy dogs. Sophia has been very kind to us and we felt very welcome. The house is situated near a nice small town where you can walk to for a coffee or beer. The region is really very scenic. Many things to do.

The staff were exceptional. They made you feel like you were a special part of the family.

Everything. The host was very solicitous and helpful. The environment was wonderful. All clean and nice. The room space was very comfortable. The silence was wonderful. Nice bed and accommodations. The bathroom had hot water immediately when opening the faucet. We could also observe local Easter traditions from the balcony of our bedroom. It was a wonderful experience.
