B&Bs in Pinhão

Boutique hotel with comfortable and very clean room. Large bathroom and great shower. The hostess was friendly and helpful and made a wonderful breakfast each morning and provided great recommendations on the local area. The Pinhao region is unbelievably beautiful with numerous restaurants and wineries. Our room overlooked the river and terraced grape and olive orchards on the opposite hill.

Great place to stay. Tania was amazing, super attentive and kind. The view is also amazing.

Location was a nice short walk to Pinhão and the edge of the Douro. Breakfast was simple but excellent and the accommodations were quiet and comfortable. I was there for just a quick night to experience the region but certainly would consider strongly returning.

Breakfast was just perfect for the moment. Fresh fruit, and warm croissants with jam. The location could be both positive and negative. Because it was on the side of a hill, the walk up could be a little tough. That being said, the view from our balcony was truly outstanding. We spent a good deal of time on that balcony, admiring the Douro Valley.

Views were outstanding. Balcony was well used by us. Nice to be away from town, crowds and noise.

Everything was splendid: the facilities, the service, the cuisine, the views. The dinner was excellent: a good choice of wine, very delicious meals. Many thanks to Marco - one of the owners. A special thanks to Antonio (Tony)🙂 The hotel is really exclusive because you feel like a very privileged guest and there are only three rooms with excellent views and conditions.

The hosts were amazing. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyinging ourselves. Her breakfasts are delicious. Make sure you go with a big appetite! And the pool was very refreshing. I truly cannot think of one negative thing to say. (Except my husband would say the bed was too hard.) I would gladly return. If I could give 6 stars, I would. The photos don't do this lovely place justice.

The property is beautiful, the view from the room is awesome. Marten is the best host, very kind and knowledgeable, goes beyond and above to make his guests feel welcome.

The cottage at Quinta do Esphino was absolutely amazing. Ana was the most welcoming and helpful host ever. The vineyard grounds and the location in the Douro are perfect.

Quinta da Gricha is really special. It is super quiet with views from every generous room over the Douro river (which you can easily walk to) and vineyards. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and there was a delicious breakfast every day. The evening meals from a local restaurant were substantial and tasty. I recommend the salad , wild boar and ham hock too. Guilherme's tour and history were excellent and the port tasting unique! The garden is perfect for morning yoga by the pool!

Amazing location in the middle of the vineyards. The house is great and we really appreciated the calmness and the nature. The hosts deliver an amazing fresh bread every morning for your breakfast.
