B&Bs in Dar es Salaam

The staff were super helpful and accommodating! They made sure we had food to eat (in the middle of the night for our very short stay), and transfer to and from the airport. Everyone was very nice and the room was nice and comfortable as well. Highly recommend!

I can't recommend this place enough. I stayed 10 nights, was looking for something comfortable and good quality price and this place exceed all my expectations. You won't find ultra luxury here, but it's a very cozy and welcoming home with everything you need. Definitely worth paying the little extra and get the room upgrade if you're staying for some time. The room is huge, with beautiful traditional wood furniture, a comfortable bed, lots of pillows, a wardrobe, and desk. A lot of light and super clean. Bathroom has hot water and good pressure shower and is cleaned every day. The breakfast is delicious with fresh fruits and pressed juice. The bar downstairs is lively with good live music and pool tables. The hotel stays in the perfect location to access a lot of attraction points, 15min from city center, 5min from coco Beach, close to a lot of bars and restaurants. You also have all services walking distance (ATM, multiple restaurants, several bars, many pharmacies, supermarkets, souvenir shops, etc). The location is safe and Q-bar staff makes sure you are always helped when you need, they inclusively escorted me to the supermarket the first day I arrived, and opened the kitchen to give me rice at 2am when my phone got water. From a person that did A LOT of research and likes a good value for money, I REALLY recommend you choose this place. I had my best stay in Dar and will definitely come back!

The Silver Paradise Hotel is a perfect stay for a jump into town or to catch a bus to other parts of the country. I appreciated the complementary shuttle in the early morning to the buses. The facilities are very nice and many above-average touches for TZ. The only negative thing I have to say is that it is located in a busy and local area. Lots of local noise and semi-rough roads but that's not a major issue. That same location has the benefits of putting you right where you need to be to move around town or to your next destination. Would highly recommend for comfortable beds, cool AC, good food in the restaurant, excellent staff and location.

I really like all the small touches. The big lockers with individual key (never seen so big ones, could fit two people inside!), they offered towel (very appreciated), their western breakfast filled with fresh fruits was a bless, clean room & comfortable bed, AC, easy access by moto bolt or public transport. The Manager is very friendly and helpful with information. Tottaly recommend. Great value for money. If I'm back in dar es salaam will stay there again for sure!

An oasis in Dar. We had to find a place to stay near the clinic where our father was being treated for pneumonia. We we so fortunate to stumble on this gem of a hotel. Subi, Maggie, Steve and everybody there helped us through a difficult time. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spotless, the decor is stunning and the food is just fantastic! Steve cooked us a breakfast each day to take to our father which was so kind. This is a really special place from which to explore Dar.

A very quiet place which is also very close to the city center. The reception was excellent and the place was clean.

Unique mini-jungle paraise and tranquility within a bustling city very close to the airport. Staff ver proud of showing all their fruit trees nad exotice plants. With Swimming Pool. Facilities also used by local clubs. Ensuite rooms adequate, and great outside breakfast. Transport with their own car - just $10 to airport.

Clean rooms, hot shower, ceiling fan (!!!), and good wifi. Enclosed, secure compound is easy to find and well-marked. We returned to the lodge after dark and felt safe walking in the neighborhood to get there. It is a great location near many restaurants, pharmacies/markets, and the beach. The hotel restaurant's food is delicious! Friendly, helpful staff held our luggage after check-out.
