The property is both beautiful and rugged. I didn’t know all the details before I arrived, but was really happy to leave my car down the trail, hike up to my cabin with what I needed, and enjoy the peace, and the beautiful view. It’s like “glamping,” as there’s no TV or WiFi, but the bathroom and shower are clean and great, the little ea station is fully stocked, and there’s everything you’d need or want to enjoy the time there.

I had my heart set on Joya Garden cottage the moment I saw it, and it did not disappoint. Everything about it was picture-perfect; Paulina decorated the place beautifully; it had everything we needed and more. The location was secluded yet within walking distance from the town centre. Paulina was a wonderful host and made us feel at home; we would definitely book again should we ever come to Nelson. Thank you

We had a really wonderful stay at Ah House. Mark and John were the perfect hosts — welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive. The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to Trafalgar Street, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and lovely walks. the communal kitchen and milk bread spreads butter tea coffee was a big bonus starting with breakfast is a must and usually it's the one meal that we miss while on holiday but with it available it was like being at home fantastic plus outdoor shower and bath oh my gosh we want more we have made this our #1 get away spot if we need a few days to relax well done hosts.

Terrific place with amazing finishings, great layout and very nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge. A gorgeous surrounding garden and a beautiful modern bathroom made for the perfect refuge.
