B&Bs in Nelson

I had my heart set on Joya Garden cottage the moment I saw it, and it did not disappoint. Everything about it was picture-perfect; Paulina decorated the place beautifully; it had everything we needed and more. The location was secluded yet within walking distance from the town centre. Paulina was a wonderful host and made us feel at home; we would definitely book again should we ever come to Nelson. Thank you

The location and accommodations exceeded our expectations! The owners were very friendly and pointed out many things to do during our stay. The property is located in a beautiful rural area next to a river. All our needs outside of the property where with places close by.

The property is both beautiful and rugged. I didn’t know all the details before I arrived, but was really happy to leave my car down the trail, hike up to my cabin with what I needed, and enjoy the peace, and the beautiful view. It’s like “glamping,” as there’s no TV or WiFi, but the bathroom and shower are clean and great, the little ea station is fully stocked, and there’s everything you’d need or want to enjoy the time there.

We had a really wonderful stay at Ah House. Mark and John were the perfect hosts — welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive. The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to Trafalgar Street, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and lovely walks. The accommodation is cosy, stylish, private and thoughtfully put together, with great attention to detail throughout - they have thought of everything! We absolutely recommend Ah House to anyone visiting Nelson. Thank you, John and Mark - we will be back!

Secure, clean, modern and relaxing

The rooms were really comfortable and space is big enough to stretch and read and have a little private space. The beds were comfortable. It was very clean. The garden smells divine. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful with well kept gardens and in walking distance from town. Caroline is very nice and a fantastic cook. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and so were the lattes. We greatly enjoyed staying here.
