It’s essentially a single room in a large house. I love the bed—it’s huge, king-size, and incredibly comfortable. The house is perched on a hill, offering stunning views.

We had an excellent stay! The hosts were truly amazing; friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and a welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom was equally clean and well-maintained, stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the great hospitality, from the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, outstanding service, and amazing views.

Darlene’s place is gorgeous with beautiful gardens and amazing water views. She is a lovely and attentive host, and made us a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, homemade scones, and scrambled eggs. The room with double beds was impeccable with a little coffee station, and the beds were cozy. Lots of extra pillows were on offer too. There is a nice pub and many other dining options nearby, and a few beautiful parks on the waterfront within a very short drive. We highly recommend a stay with her!

It was like staying with family. It’s conveniently located for walking to the waterfront, the old quarter and Bowen Park. Breakfast was great. My favorites: granola and fruit.

Had a wonderful stay here and would recommend to anyone! Host was so friendly and helpful and went over and above to make my stay there go well. I felt very comfortable and at home.

All around a terrific stay! The home was very comfy (amazing pillows and mattress--I slept so well!), clean, and the gracious hosts really thought of everything. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and they even were very thoughtful in providing coffee, tea, and snacks. Amazing! The location was great, as well. Right next to a walking/biking path and a short drive to downtown Nanaimo, the grocery store, etc. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in Nanaimo, and I hope to return!

Clean functional and well decorated, hot tub was a nice addition and was clean

We stayed in the Family Room with Garden View and it was very spacious! Had a nice homey feel, breakfast was great, it was exactly what we needed for our stay. Thanks for having us!
