The view is amazing! Close to town, walkable distance. Great location. Huge apartment, very well equipped for cooking.

The privacy…rooms were clean…kitchenette had all the needed stuff to make a hearty meal at home…the bed was comfortable…and a beautiful view of the mountains from the windows to go with…my girlfriend was glued to the windows every single morning once she woke up

It was an easy check-in and the staff at Dorint were courteous. They did, however, made sure that if we had any complaints about the apartment, we have to contact the owner. We could have enjoyed their swimming pool and sauna but our active schedule did not allow it. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had ingredients we found very useful for food preparations.

The train station was 10 minutes away via walking. Grocery store and shopping were next door. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was great having the washer and dryer. You could see the different mountains from the apartment. You were so close to everything in Thun. You felt like a local instead of a tourist.

We had an absolutely incredible weekend at SALZANO Hotel with two friends, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The rooms were beautiful, very comfortable. The pool and spa area were so relaxing, we even got to enjoy the sunshine while swimming, with a stunning mountain view all around us. The location is perfect for exploring the region and going on hikes around Interlaken. After a lovely day of hiking, it was such a pleasure to come back and relax at the hotel. The restaurant was also excellent, both for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. But what truly made this stay special was the staff: their kindness, helpfulness, and attention to detail were exceptional and something you do not often experience in hotels. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our entire stay.

The apartment has a beautiful view, and very close to the lake, to a grocery store and some restaurants in the village (and to other attractions by car). We had a very good communication with the owner The place was spotless, well equipped. and very comfortable.

You absolutely can't beat the location. It is nestled behind the Oberhofen Castle (with one tall, close house in between). We stayed on the top floor in the 2 bedroom apartment, and spent a lot of time on the large patio enjoying the view of the castle towers and peek-a-boo lake view. There were plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy the patio, and lots of beds inside (a queen in each bedroom, two singles in the main room and one is a trundle for a third single). The ferry terminal is just next door with a little cafe for coffee or beer, and you can sneak a peek at the ferry passing by Frank the apartment patio. A super convenient grocery store is right across the street. The apartment is about equidistant to two bus stops, very close and convenient. There is a 24-hour parking garage just down the street (Gemeinde Oberhofen am Thunersee). We paid 49 chf for one week. You'll need to create an account (we used the apartment address) at https://parkingpay.ch/. We had to wait until we had our rental car so we could provide the license plate. There was no gate or need to enter our information at the garage, since they had our license plate number they knew that we had a pass and left our car alone all week. The kitchen is cute and well equipped, and the owner provides same-day communication and is easy to work with.

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our vacation in Switzerland. The location allowed for easy day trips from Spiez. So much attention was put into every detail-it was decorated beautifully, there was an abundance of local travel brochures, electric adaptors and Nespresso machine with pods. When we arrived there was fresh fruit, water and Lindt chocolates waiting for us. Such a nice touch. Annelis was very helpful with any question we had. We highly recommend this apartment this apartment to anyone planning a stay in the area.

Loved the location 20 min from touristy downtown, at the same time the drive was beautiful and safe. We were walking distance from a monumental non-crowded crossing bridge to enjoy sunrise and sunsets. It is located in a quaint, quiet countryside with 360 views. Parking space outside our apartment guaranteed. Place with working TV, got Netflix, kitchen stove, fridge, all needed dishes/utensils. Apartment is old but very clean. The shower stall is small but functional with the best shower pressure and hot water. No drain issues. The apartment was very spacious for my son and I. Newer pull- out couch. No shut out curtains in living room and only partial in bedroom. No AC but bedroom gets a wonderful cool breeze to cool down apartment in late pm. Bedroom next to a busy road which essentially becomes non busy at night. Great spaces for storage. The best part was the accommodating host, Philip and his wife, who run hotel and these apartments. No request was denied. You can choose to have a decent dinner at the hotel steps away from the apartment. My son left his sunglasses at the restaurant but were returned the next day. Overall, it is great value compared to downtown, especially if you have a vehicle.

I stayed in Chalet Egglen for 4 days on our trip with my husband, daughter and parents. We were welcomed by Markus (AirBnb owner) and given a house tour with pamphlets and maps on the surroundings. As a local, he provided us some great tips on restaurants, where to go on a rainy day, how to navigate around etc. We did a bunch of research beforehand so we knew what exactly we wanted to do in Interlaken and surrounding areas, but you can not beat a local’s insight. The house was very clean, very well equipped and owner was very responsive. We had a few questions here and there and he was beyond helpful. He knew it was our 2-year daughter’s b’day and he even left a cake at our doorstep, going the extra mile to make our time lovely at his place. When you wake up the first thing you see is lake and mountains, the views are to die for. The neighborhood is so pretty. We were split between staying in Interlaken vs here, but so glad we picked this place. 15 min drive from Interlaken, 15 min drive from Thun – perfect location. We loved everything about this place and host. We travel a lot and have never stayed at a better house than this. I would highly recommend this property and Markus’ hospitality!

Great place for family with all that we need. Great view to the Thunersee and snow mountain. Clean and comfortable for family.

Absolutely stunning views and such a cozy property. Beds were firm and comfy. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for cooking. Very quiet and serene for a relaxing holiday. I would definitely stay here again!
