Excellent location and amenities. Stelios the owner was professional and very hospitable and he has the BEST home made Raki!

Breakfast was exceptional. Place was very clean. Shower pressure fantastic. Apartment had all the amenities and was very quiet. I will definitely stay here again if ever back In Matala!

The host is super accommodating and nice. She was responsive and available to assist with whatever I needed. The location is excellent and you are only 5 min. from the town, beach and bus. It could not be better. I highly recommend this property and host.

New 4 Villas block with everything what you need (except washing machine, but this was not very actual for us). Very silent apartment (but villas near main road to Matala can be more noisy ;-) ). It was really good, because if you live in Matala, this town is quite noisy. There you get very quite environment for sleep with 15 minutes walk from Matala. Roud to Matala have a sidewalk, and walk is very easy. They have parking, but very small (2-3 cars). But you can very easy to park at street. There is not so much activities in Matala. If you want sandy beach, better to take 20 minutes from Matala Red Beach Trail. Red beach really looks a little bit like "wild beach", but there are 3 bar's. One of them have "best Mojito in the world", but owner Yannis is a little bit expressive person. But I like him. And please be noted - there is no WC. And do not trust Google maps, which shows wrong start point from Scala restaurant. You need follow signpost from Matala Tribe shop to up. If you want hike, there is very nice "Rouvas Wood and Gorge" to oak forest (do you believe, that we have oaks in Crete? ;-) ) Hike is mid level difficulty for ~4 hours.

Wonderful location for the weekend. We are so happy with our stay at this lovely place. We will definitely stay here when visiting Matala. We arrived earlier than expected and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready.

Beautiful property, great location, excellent breakfast included at the nearby hotel. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Loved the eye for design in decor and lighting. Air conditioning in every room, worked beautifully.

This is a family run business that I would recommend to anyone! They went above and beyond to take care of us! The restaurant was the best Greek food I had in two weeks in Greece, with the best prices too. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach was beautiful and the area was so relaxed.

Location was just next to the sea

The house is in front of the beach. Perfect for our kids to play on the beach all day long. There's a local café and tavern to hang out in front of the water. The kitchen is equipped with everything we need, especially traveling with kids.

Fabulous from beginning to end! Cleanliness, free parking, location to beach and friendly staff that is also pet friendly! The rich foliage different plants adds to the very charming atmosphere. We will book again if returning to the area … without hesitation!!

I liked it so much that I decided to extend my stay. The manager and staff were very nice and helpful. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe. I didn’t rent a car, so being within walking distance of Matala (about 15 minutes) and the beautiful Komos Beach (about 45 minutes) was a huge plus.

The location is great. 2 Min to the city centre on foot and yet not directly on a busy street. And they have their own place to park your car, which is great if you have a rented car like we had.

It was amazing, the staff, location and the colorfulness!! Matala is now my favorite place in Greece 🇬🇷♥️

Charming host family (3-generations), always offering us some small treat, like cake, cheese pie, mizithra. Private parking a plus. Great location, on side street but 2 minutes from restaurants, beach, etc.

Brand new, modern with good taste for the interior and quiet. Very well equipped kitchen with generous complementary goodies. Pool is very small, just a plunge pool but theres a great pool across the road for laps, you can use free of charge but picking up a coffee or drink theres a good plan.

Great location right near the square in Matala. Easy to find Maria in the shop to collect the keys. Very clean and well equipped, would recommend and would stay again. Thank you for the bottle of Cretan wine too!

View, location and flat/facilities/equipment were extremely good.

Beautiful view from the large balcony. Literally steps to the beach. Matala is a beautiful small village, you can't avoid some noise from the bars if you want the beach location. We loved the place and will certainly be back. Great host, spoilt us with a couple of homemade dinners
