Breakfast good at first, not good at end of stay

My stay at the Old Park Villa was quite nice ... Vijay, the owner, was quite fluent in Tamil and English. It is just off the main road and very close the nearest bus stop. In fact, it is walkable to Nallur temple, main bus stand in Jaffna, the train station. One can walk around to explore the area ... US hotel, YMCA canteen. Overall, the accommodation was vary spacious and the amenities were quite excellent. Surrounded by bunch of huge mango trees and helpful staff, I would very much recommend the stay for families as well. Thanks to Vijay for his inputs on current exchange places near the main bus stand!

First of all, I want to thank the Host for allowing us an early check in (5am). I was travelling with my mother and father from colombo by bus and we were tired after the journey and we wanted an early check in. The host, helped us with bus booking and early check in without any extra charges. The caretaker was awake at 5am to see to it that we were comfortable with out check in process. We stayed at this farmhouse for three days and it was just splendid. Bit away from the town, the property and the rooms were very spacious and had all amenities. Just the right way to end our Sri Lankan Tour. A relaxed laid back stay. Thank you very much for making us comfortable. Special thanks to Mr. Surendran and Mr. Piraseen. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious, bed was comfy and was near restaurants, shops and the park, the best was Rahul and Radhu they were always present, helpful and accommodating, I stayed here about 3 weeks and during this time I had to go through an emergency surgery, even then they were always supportive, I came back to Sobia Villa for recovery and the balcony, the views and humanity of the staff made it easier! Thank you so much

Loved the place and the atmosphere. Rooms were quiet and cosy and the food was fabulous. Located close to many locations in Jaffna where you could easily visit. Host was very friendly and flexible with excellent response times for any help we required.

The host Haran is a true people person. He knows how to treat guests like family. Starting from breakfast, we were given generous portions of authentic Jaffna cuisine which were truly delicious. The rooms were big, spacious and most importantly clean. AC, hot water was working very well. The location was a mere walking distance from Nallur kovil and could be considered an ideal location to base your Jaffna trip. All in all every one in our group enjoyed the stay and we would gladly recommend this location to anyone traveling to Jaffna.

We stayed at Abbi Holiday Villa in Jaffna as a family of 6, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The villa gave us a homely, peaceful vibe — it really felt like our own private space. The entire property was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and everything we needed was available. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for comfort and privacy in Jaffna!

Very calm and quiet place located very near to the Jaffna city limits. Easily you can reach to lot of places from the location. Caretaker provided free bed tea in the morning.

It was a nice guest house in a central location. The owner was great. Large rooms . Comfortable beds. Bathroom was clean too. The owner accommodated our breakfast request.
