The accommodations are beautiful and well equipped. The host was very helpful and had everything prepared for us, even warning us about road closures due to a rally.

The location, host and view of the place is really awesome. Lots of kitchen appliances. Nice balcony and swimming pool.

Beautiful, lush setting with views over the ocean and surrounding hills! Clean, spacious room and very private. Easy self check-in and check-out, free parking. Well-stocked kitchen, bread rolls in the morning were a nice touch too.

The place was fully equipped to really make us feel at home, the view was beautiful, the bed super comfy, best vacation stay we've been at!

Pool was nice, and views were exceptional. Great location for beach access, walks and downhill biking.

Great apartment, very homely. good location and parking

A spacious apartment with beautiful sea view, garage parking and well equipped kitchen (large fridge, cooking equipment, knifes, etc). The apartment is located in the top floor of the building with lift from the garage, so very comfortable to access. The host is very helpful and well communicating via WhatsUp. They even lent us a USB-C cable for car charging which we did not have.

Perfect location, all the basics needed, simple check in.

Mercilia was there to greet us. She provided a key and walk through of O Palheiro and also the grounds. She was warm and welcoming and cared very much to ensure we were comfortable. The other on-site employees were friendly and attentive. The grounds were lovely with fruiting and flowering plants. Other guests were often sitting outside enjoying the area outside their rooms or the common area and they seemed to enjoy the peace but also were social and we met several of them and learned about their visits.

Cozy, comfortable, great location, it literally has everything you need. We could even use the washing machine, it was perfect. Communication was clear and great, highly recommended!

Very clean, comfortable mattress, all amenities in perfect condition and basic necessities for cooking provided such as oil, spices, etc. There is also plenty of parking spots around the building and a convenient supermarket downstairs. The views from the apartment are beautiful.

We stayed at Mine House for one week with my husband and our 3-year-old son, and we truly loved our stay — everything was perfect. First of all, the hosts, Gustavo and his family, are incredibly kind and welcoming. They made us feel at home from the very beginning, greeting us with nice gifts such as eggs, fruit, cake, and wine. Our son spent a lot of time playing with their son, who kindly shared his toys, which was so lovely to see. The family was always attentive and made sure we weren’t missing anything. The location is also wonderful: in the Calheta area, yet high enough to be peaceful and quiet, with a stunning view over the village and the ocean. The house itself is spacious, very clean, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable one-week stay. Gustavo was very responsive and personally welcomed us upon arrival. He also shared excellent recommendations for things to do around the island and great places to eat. We would absolutely come back. Thank you again to Gustavo and his family for such a warm and memorable stay!

House was very spacious and clean! Has practically everything you would need for your stay. Beds were very comfortable. Front yard is very nice. Lots of parking right outside. Great location.

The place is a real gem, has a true madeira-like feeling, has spectacular views from the balcony, peace and quiet, private parking. We had az amazing time here, the location is a bit remote but certainly has its perks and perfect getaway with childrens even or for a group of few. Tania is an excellent host, responsive, kind, helpful.

This is an incredibly special place that exemplifies the beauty of Madeira. The suites were comfortable and private, and the pool was our favorite. It was a magical experience. One of the many wonderful moments we had was requesting a meal for breakfast and dinner onsite cooked by Jorge and Gabriel, the owners. Highly recommend paying for this, as the food is amazing and the money spent is well worth it! It’s particularly great after a long day adventuring. Jorge and Gabriel are amazing hosts and people, and we are so appreciative of their generosity, kindness, and friendship. We will be back and we will tell everyone about this spot.
