great host, she made an effort to communicate with us even though she doesn't speak to much english, she prepared sandwiches for us every day for no extra cost, and prepared us sukiyaki that was excellent and at a very reasonable price plus drinks that were on the house. and the house was very comfortable.

Amazing place to stay. It was basically like a show-room house with brand new things. Super clean, beautiful, excellent location. Cool facilities with things like a home theatre, hammocks, and so on. Host was great and easy to deal with. Our favorite thing is that it had a personal dog run so our dog could run around and have a great time. I thought I came across a photo of the dog run as like barren and muddy so I wasn't that excited, but actually it was all grass (real grass)! Lots of room to park. Everyone in my party of four people were instantly impressed. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in Karuizawa.

Amazing homemade breakfast. Room and decor were lovely. Beds and comforters were very comfortable. Dinner was amazing - highlight of our trip. Highly recommend. Common room was super comfy, with its heated table and provided drinks and oranges. Pajamas also very comfy. Shared showers were clean and well stocked. Staff were friendly, helpful, and punctual. Location was great. 10 minutes to the train station. Lots of coffee shops nearby (too bad many don’t open till later) - recommend siphon coffee from Abe.

I come with kids and dog … everything is perfect for me … staff send kids to ski school from 9 and send them back at 12:30 .. staff are all super helpful … the house is clean , everything is equipped , I strongly recommend jade group ( I hate to promoted as I’m worry I can’t book next time ) anyway … if you have car , 100 % highly recommended :)

Wadano Gateway made my stay in Hakuba the best part of my whole Japan trip. The apartment room is sooo spacious and it is the cleanest hotel I've ever been in. The free bike rental is great for getting around the beautiful village. I'll be staying here again!

Wonderful hosts and attentive to your needs. The home and its surroundings are absolutely stunning. We were the only guests for one night as we were hiking up to Narai the following day. The dinner meal course was an unforgettable culinary delight. Our brief stay was one of the best cultural experiences we had in Japan and I can only imagine Takimi Onsen during peak fall season in its magnificent glory.

The location is stunningly beautiful and peacefully quiet. The food is exceptional and the staff were attentive. If you want a real Japanese experience this is the place. I highly recommend.

The most beautiful stay - the room was stunning, the hotel grounds are gorgeous (especially in autumn!) and they catered to our dietary requirements with a delicious vegetarian breakfast. The private onsen was such a treat too. The hotel is just a short walk to the gorgeous snow monkeys too which was so much fun. The staff are truly so welcoming. Make sure you buy a delicious, big apple from the sweet man selling fruit in the lobby some mornings!!!!!
