We liked everything: The room was rather small but offered everything we needed, was modern and clean. The bathroom was spacious and well-designed. Lovely outdoor seating with a much-needed fan. Kitchen access with a fridge. Very good Wifi. Close to lots of restaurants and the beach. Although there was a bit of a language barrier, our host was lovely and accommodating, cooked us a nice and very affordable breakfast. We did not see very much of her towards the end of the of our stay, but very understandably so: her daughter was having a baby - congratulations 🎉

We had a great experience staying at Theepan’s Home, which is just a 5-minute walk from the beautiful Nilaveli Beach. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Theepan, the host, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the rates were very reasonable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

I love the location! It's right on the beach! And during the time we were there, the beach to the left and to the right from the hotel was deserted. There are only a few rooms at the hotel and guests would leave somewhere and at times it felt like we had our own private beach just for two of us! Also having breakfast and dining there is so great, because again your doing it right on the beach, so the scenery and the sounds of waves are perfect. I live how they have us so many different traditional Sri-Lankan side dishes to our order. The bungalows are located far from the main road, so you only hear the sound of waves and nothing else. Very nice owners and staff - they helped us with luggage both during check-in and check-out and did it out of genuine hospitality, not like most places in the world where they help you with luggage and stay there wait for tips. Really great place, very romantic, I hope we'll be able to come back to Sri-Lanka again and stay at these Bungalows!

What’s not to love about this hotel? Our stay was perfect, and it was so hard to leave! The room was simple but spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The internet was fast and stable, allowing us to work and join Zoom meetings without any issues. There was hot water, and the location was just a tuktuk ride away from all the major sites in Trincomalee and a very short walk to the beach. The best part of our stay was our host, Praba, and his staff! They were all very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The second best part was Praba's cooking! The food was so good, much better quality than the beachfront restaurants, and reasonably priced too. The servings were huge, and everything was fresh and lovingly made! 100/10 would recommend to stay and eat most of your meals here.

I can’t even put into words how much we enjoyed our stay. Yes, the rooms were great with A/C, we loved the filtered water and the location was fantastic, but it was more than that. Prashanth devotes his life to helping the strays in the area. It is abundantly clear that he has a good heart and truly cares about making small differences. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio at night and having conversations with him. We learned so much more about his life, Sri Lankan history and culture.
