Great place for peace and calm. The cultural experience at Blue Diamond left us with many stories and wonderful memories. The hotel facilities and room service are exceptional, and the staff are accommodating and friendly. I chose Blue Diamond for its commitment to eco-friendly practices. Very close to the beach and all the restaurants but in a quiet street far from the noise. Pool was perfect for relaxing when the sun was to hot for the beach. Staff super friendly and very helpful. Will go back for sure.

Fabulous villa in a perfect location. In a quiet laneway, approximately 3 minutes walk to the best part of Uppaveli Beach. The staff could not have been more helpful. The Manager Raju was brilliant.

Probably the most modern and well taken care property around, even in low season. The room was luxurious, very clean and with good AC and amenities. Close to the beach and a few restaurants.

The apartment has all the amenities and is quite modern. There, my family and I felt completely at ease. The beach is close to the property. The beach is lovely and immaculate.

The property is beachfront and absolutely perfect. It’s very convenient to walk to nearby restaurants and bars. In the morning, you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise right from your room. The staff are exceptionally friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Their service and hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable.

The place is very calm, there is no traffic around and the only thing you hear are the birds chipping around. It was a very peaceful stay Room was very spacious and clean Close to good restaurants and the main beach in Trincomalee

Amazing stay at pearl bungalow very clean modern accommodation with very friendly attentive host. Got breakfast on site in the morning which was good and affordable .

We stayed as a couple for two nights, and it was a very comfortable and relaxing experience. The cabana is calm, clean, and surrounded by nature — perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere made us feel completely at ease.

Silva was the superb host! He makes deliciuos food and is very helpful. I had an accident, so I needed into the hospital, so he took me with his scooter, helped me there with translation and while I had to wait he quickly came back to hotel to make some breakfast for my girlfriend. 🙈 Very responsible and thoughtful person. 🥳 Regarding the room it was very spacious, had good air coditioning and the hotel is located on the beach side.

Great value for money. We came for four nights and stayed for eight. The rooms are clean, have everything you need and an amazing veranda. Manager Alex and his staff are doing a great job keeping the territory neat and green. Alex is very helpful, attending and professional. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Amazing staff- so helpful and nice! The food was delicious! And the room was very comfortable with AC and even a mini fridge! It’s so close to all the center tourist activities but still peaceful! Definitely recommend this place first after staying at 2 others in the area. My fiance lost a toenail in a rock Vs barefoot walking accident and the hosts were so helpful, bringing water and ice and checking on him!

What’s not to love about this hotel? Our stay was perfect, and it was so hard to leave! The room was simple but spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The internet was fast and stable, allowing us to work and join Zoom meetings without any issues. There was hot water, and the location was just a tuktuk ride away from all the major sites in Trincomalee and a very short walk to the beach. The best part of our stay was our host, Praba, and his staff! They were all very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The second best part was Praba's cooking! The food was so good, much better quality than the beachfront restaurants, and reasonably priced too. The servings were huge, and everything was fresh and lovingly made! 100/10 would recommend to stay and eat most of your meals here.

The rooms are all set with table and chairs. The rooms are basic in terms of amenities and facilities but are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The location is ideal, in the Alles Garden area only two minutes walk from the beach, Fernando's bar and Cafe on the 18th. The photos on Google and hotel booking sites accurately reflect the property. We had an aircon room which was very good value and the owner and staff were all very pleasant. Definitely recommended.

Didn't expect the welcome drink. It was nice to have a welcoming drink at this place. I highly recommend this place to those who wish to travel in the city

Booking is asking me to review but this particular booking was cancelled. However, stayed here before and it’s a very nice place and close to good beach and bars/ restaurants. When I am in Trinco again will surely book this place!!

Very lovely owner who gave us tips on what to do in the area. The room was great value. Had everything you need for a few nights stay. The location was great, very close to the beach and restaurants were right next door. Would stay here again.

This is a wonderful budget-friendly beachfront place to stay in Trinco! Totally underrated. Room was clean and practical with big comfy bed. AC worked great. Location is perfect, basically your own private beach and a large terrace to relax and enjoy. Shops for snacks and drinks very nearby. The owner is so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. He organized our snorkel trip, transportation, and food delivery. We enjoyed it so much we ended up staying an extra night.

The location in the beach is great, especially for sunrise! The host is very friendly and welcoming and makes a great cup of coffee watching sunrise with you! I would definitely stay here if I come back.

I can’t even put into words how much we enjoyed our stay. Yes, the rooms were great with A/C, we loved the filtered water and the location was fantastic, but it was more than that. Prashanth devotes his life to helping the strays in the area. It is abundantly clear that he has a good heart and truly cares about making small differences. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio at night and having conversations with him. We learned so much more about his life, Sri Lankan history and culture. Prashanth is welcoming and trustworthy and full of helpful tips with your stay. Thank you Prashanth for welcoming us into your home and for all that you do for the animals!
