So cozy and welcoming. The rooms were elegantly remodeled, the bed, linen and pillows were more than comfortable. Even the towels were so luxurious! But most of all we enjoyed meeting and chatting with the sweet family that runs it, especially Matilda!

Super clean and very comfortable guesthouse. Very nice shared kitchen. The proprietor was able to accommodate my early check-thank you. I had the small self-contained unit in the rear of the property and it was great.

I had a wonderful stay at the Laurels Retreat! The accommodation is divine - immaculately clean, incredibly comfortable, perfectly proportioned, well-located. Furthermore, the kitchenette is really well equipped (more than the listing lets on!). Plus, the host, Kate, is the tops-- friendly, available, super helpful, but with the utmost respect for her guests' privacy. It was a home away from home. I can't recommend this place enough and hope I have the opportunity to return!
