Cheap hotels in Ribeira Grande

Location was amazing, facilities were clean, shared bathrooms were always available. The bathrobes were a nice touch since we had to walk from our room to the bathroom. They provided us with bath towels and beach towels that we were allowed to take with us to the beach/hot-springs. We were also able to park right on the street outside and were always able to find a parking spot nearby.

Small shared terrace with view. My room was spacious. There is some noise from a bar just opposite but if you close the window it was fine.

So clean and beautifully decorated. A little gem in the centre of the city.

Parking was excellent. It was right outside. Easy access great communication with the host could’ve done without the dogs and cats at night but that’s OK very clean beautiful accommodations water coffee breakfast fruit loved everything.

The apartment is located on the top of the building and has a nice open layout , with bathroom and two large beds. Great views to the ocean and to the mountains. Very clean and nicely arranged. Excellent breakfast with many options , including home made jams and cake. We praise the hosts, Rosanna and Eduardo, for their hospitality, eagerness to help and for the obvious dedication they put in this tourism project.

Great food, staff, and facilities.

The location of this property was so nice as it was within walking distance to the beach but also easy driving access to everything on the island. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast each day was perfect. Very clean accommodations.

Lorena and Fernando are the most amazing and hospitable hosts. They really care for their guests and want to make sure they have an amazing time. They can provide you with a lot of information about what you can do on the island and are genuinly nice to talk to. Even though we had a language barrier we could still sit down and have a nice chat. I would really recomend staying here as a solo female traveler. I felt really safe and welcome. Bonus points: The accomodation is really close to the beach and surfschool, and great food is made by lorena and fernando!
