One of the more stylish and perfectly kept places I have had the joy to stay in during my international travels! Wonderful owner/host very attentive but not at all intrusive. Super dog friendly and VERY convenient to the LeShuttle train back to France. No detailed was spared regarding possible needs of the guest…Five stays all around! Highly recommended!

The Lodge offers a garden and a hot tub, as well as accommodations with a kitchen in Kent, a 16-minute walk from Sandgate Beach.

Peaceful location. A helpful host who helped us with our luggage and settled in. Really comfortable bed.

The Annex room with private bathroom was very good. The description of having to climb 40 stairs to the annex rooms is misleading. It was not a straight up 40 Steps but definitely not for those traveling with suitcases. Loved the closeness to the cathedral which allowed free unlimited walking in the cathedral and on the grounds all day. Breakfast was sit down by time skits and offered a fabulous huge choice. The rooms bathroom was big and the room had a large smart tv. Internet signal was strong. Definitely the place to stay if you’re a pilgrim starting the Via Francigena because you feel your right in the centre of this beautiful religious sanctuary.
