Cabins in Oban

Unbeatable location if you’re looking for peace, quiet and scenery. Short walk to the Barn Bar and 10-15 drive to town. Clean and well equipped lodge. Great communication from staff leading up to and during the visit.

Felt homely .. Awesome experience

The well spec cabin was excellent for our short stay, the kitchen space contained everything we could need to make simple meals while the living and sleep space was very comfortable. Despite the cabin's relatively small size we had no problem with 2 of us moving about in the well designed layout. The bathroom was a very good size with a large shower, with quality fittings. The location close to the town centre was great, with it only being a short walk to the shops/ferry/train station

It was an amazing stay. Very clean and spacious apartment with super comfy beds and a nicely renovated shower. Location was also very good, 5mins walk to Oban center. Caroline was the best host ever! She was very kind, very friendly, super helpful with lots of tips about the region and always being ready to help for our questions. We loved Scottish west highlands and will definitely revisit, and when we do that we will go back to Holly Lodge!

I love the location of this property, you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle. The wildlife just across too made it more interesting

Carol... she is amazing! Our stay didn’t feel like a business transaction at a Hotel, more like you’re visiting a friend and it's clear that she cares about your stay at Aspen Lodge. She greeted us upon arrival, showed us around, explained everything that we needed to know about the room and facilities in an unhurried manor. The room - Stalker - was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need including little touches like handmade chocolates. Plenty of tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits which were replenished daily. The coat hanger just inside the main entrance was a lovely piece of artwork! Other touches I appreciated were dressing gowns in the room, plenty of fluffy huge towels (that's a big deal for me), good quality toiletries, comfy bed and pillows. Another big deal is cheap loo roll - no skimping here either! It really feels like Carol wants you to have the very best stay with no cheapness. The internet connection was fast with no issues and we loved the underfloor heating! Carol kindly provides her number for you to contact should you need anything and nothing was too much trouble. She was kind enough to put some plates & cutlery out for us one evening when we asked if it would be possible. The location was perfect for us – about 10 minutes to the centre of Oban by car. I had the cooked breakfast and it was delicious with good quality ingredients used. Plenty of choice is offered for hot & cold options, fresh fruits, toast, fruit juices etc. Finally, that view........... literally, the pictures do not do this justice! It's truly breathtaking and changes all the time. I have at least 15 videos where I couldn’t stop admiring it. The weather wasn't the best for us but it didn't matter. We couldn't take our eyes away from looking outside. It's peaceful and exactly what we needed. We will definitely return one day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone to book if you’re thinking about it.

The lodge is absolutely stunning, in an amazing location - almost like staying in a treehouse! Super cosy, very clean and the hot tub is an amazing addition.
