We were traveling by motorbike and the staff went out of there way to accommodate us. There is a dedicated area to dry and warm your kit when you are done riding for the day. There is also a covered garage to store your motorbike for the evening. The "Fox's Den" is a wonderful room to sit by the fire and warm yourself after a long days ride.

The nature and the beauty of the place, that match the lovely owners of the huts. Lyn and Simon thank you so much for your lovely support during and after our stay. I forgot my wallet at the hut and I was on my way to the airport in London. They took care of it and shipped it back to me in Saudi. I will definitely be visiting back. Much love

Amazing location - heart of the Galloway Forest. The cabin offered a well-equipped wooden home - had everything you need, small cooking area and fully furnished. Loved the bathroom! Roll top bath and spacious luxury. Peaceful setting - and oh my! The night sky views were wonderful! Loved using the fire pit to cook dinner on. Jeannot and Frazer were wonderful hosts who could do no more for us. Utterly wow!

Hidden gem in the middle of a forest. We enjoyed our stay very much. A beautiful wooden cabin where you feel like home when away from home. It gives a feeling of coziness.

Fraser and Eleanor were so welcoming .The riverside cabin was very comfortable and they had even provided fresh milk prosecco and crisps.A very comfortable bed with soft pillows.A lovely view to the sheep in the field.A very good shower inside and inviting bath outside. You just need to let the water run for the hot water to arrive.

These amazing lodges have the real "wow" factor, as they are so beautifully appointed, with every luxury and comfort. Despite being so compact, it felt airy and spacious. The weather was pretty grim when we arrived, but we were soon feeling very warm and cosy, and thoroughly pampered, in our lovely cabin. The BBQ hut is a fantastic idea, and looked so cool, but we just didn't have the weather for it, although I believe others were gamely huddled in theirs!

It was very dirty and a shambles. In the toilets for the cabins, tiles were missing. Inside, the taps were broken and barely working. No hand towels either. The separate showers were better, but both doors into the them were broken, and one didn't shut at all. The entrance to the hotel was very untidy, and there were detritus littered all over the place. The staff were good but overwhelmed with it all. It wasn't a great advertisement for all the people from abroad walking the West Highland Way.

The chalets are super cute and compact, offering everything you need including an electric fireplace. Andrew is a great and supportive host, he made sure we found the location and found everything in the chalet. The area is very quiet, surrounded by fields of sheep, cows and ponies. Thumbs up and thank you for having us👍
