We had a wonderful stay at Berghotel Schmittenhöhe in Austria! The food was absolutely fantastic every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. After a long day on the slopes, it was such a treat to sit down to delicious, hearty dishes. One of the best parts of staying here was the incredible ski-in/ski-out access. Being able to ski right to the door made everything so convenient and stress-free. No hauling equipment, no long walks just pure mountain enjoyment from start to finish. And the view absolutely spectacular! If you're looking for a cozy alpine stay with amazing food, unbeatable slope access, and stunning views, this is the place. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms and ambiance in general very relaxing. Although it is an old castle it has modern comforts. The breakfasts and dinner menu are very appealing to the eye and tongue and wholesome with local produce. And finally the views of the valley and mountains are incredible.
