The hotel far exceeded our expectations. Both the room and the bathroom were huge, clean, and we also had access to a (common) terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good. There are a few parking spots right outside the hotel, however if those are taken, there's a bigger free parking space about 100-200m away. In addition, we appreciated the SommerCard (we each received one), which helped us save quite a lot of money and was easy to use. The location is great for exploring the Hohe Tauern national park.

This is a family-run business with really caring and attentive owners. The breakfast was amazing, with hand-painted, cute eggs, home-made cheese. The owners also make their own beer. So caring owners are rare these days!

Everything was according to our expectations. The room was tidy and very clean. The view was very nice. I strongly recommend it.

Perfect location, fantastic xmas eve dinner buffet, welcomimg and accomodatimg host. The chembermaids were exceptional, everyone was polite. Ample parking behind the hotel, good location. We would come back again.

Nice hotel with friendly personnel. Spa area is great and the location is nice with a doable walk to the ski lift (where they have lockers for your gear). The breakfast is good with a lot of options to choose from.

We loved the breakfast and the wellness center. Both were exceptional in our opinion. There are great restaurant options around, you can have great dining experiences, don't forget to book though, as it could get pretty busy. Kitzsteinhorn resort was great for skiing, we had good amount of snow (considering we visited in March) and well prepared slopes, pretty good variety of red and black options. Something to keep in mind if you're planning to ski during March or later, Schmittenhohe part of the resort has much lower altitude and the ski conditions in this area might not be so good during these days. We visited Schmittenhohe area one morning and decided to return to Glacier area in the middle of the day due to the poor conditions of the slopes. (slush & ice & basically not enough snow)

Everything is fantastic. Traveling for more than 5 years in Europe, mainly in Germany, France, UK, Belgium, Netherlands I didn't find any hotel like this one. Top on everything they have/do.

Spacious and Clean room. Friendly and Informative Staff. Good Breakfast. Loved the history of the building - has been in the family for several hundred years. There was a newer and an older part to it. Went walking in the older part and was completely amazed! Everything was just SO beautiful - the craftsmanship, , the massif-ness, the gathering rooms, the Antique furniture, everything just seething history --- just WOW! Seeing these old demeures is one of the many high-lights on our trip. There was access to a pool but we didn't use it-don't look good in a bathing suit (hahaha). Yes! There was an elevator! Parking next to the hotel or in their parking garage.

The spa area was excellent and a perfect place to relax after a day in the mountains. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and exceptionally friendly throughout our stay. We also loved the great breakfast selection and the large storage room for snowboards and ski equipment.

The clean, very well located apartment, on the ground floor, so very easy access to it. Too value for its price. The view from the balcony is great - you get the look on the mountains, slope and a ski lift! The apartment has bath, not shower - I expected it would have not only signs of use but at least some signs of mold, as I experienced everywhere before, BUT for my surprise - there were no mold signs and very minor signs of use, very well maintained bath! The toilet seat should be a little bit adjusted, but it doesn't influence on comfort. The apartment has warm floor and in addition 2m long heating battery alomg the window - we used it only between "snowflake" and "1" mode, having less than -10 degrees outside. The apartment has renowated furniture, much more then enough cookware, the only missing thing in the kitchen - kitchen hood. The host is very friendly, responsive, responds quickly and efficiently to all comments. After our ask to checkin earlier - he let us do that before 11AM! He really tries to make the stay in his apartment comfortable and pleasant. In 5 minutes walk there is school ski lift, plenty ski-schools' locations, in 15 minutes - there is another ski lift, as well as supermarkets and city center, bars, restaurants are in 10-12 minutes walk.
