Large, comfortable home with two bathrooms, and a separate family room. Ideal for a family. Safe back yard for dogs and large deck to sit out on. Abundant accessible walks for the dog at this time of year. Lovely clean beach. Very accommodating owners, better than going through agents. Over all ticked all our boxes.

Great set up in accommodation for our extended family. So much space in the bedrooms and living areas. No cutting corners - everything stocked so well. Shops and restaurants out the front or only a quick walk or drive away. Fantastic park for the kids across the road - and all flat with no hills to climb.

Lots of nature, quiet family-oriented location, plenty to see and explore. Love the pockets of stores here and there. Plenty of Op shops which we loved exploring and scoring some little treasures You have to visit here it's an amazing place!

We had a relaxing family holiday at Anglesea.

We had a relaxing family holiday at Anglesea. The location of the holiday park right next to the beach and river meant we barely had to get in the car. It’s an excellent location for kids with many different activities. The beds in the cabins were so comfortable too!

A beautiful beachside suburb surrounded by bushland & minutes away from the Great Ocean Road. Adequate options for food & drink though they vary in standard however all are top $$ for what one gets.

Anglesea is a stunning beachside town about an hour from...

Anglesea is a stunning beachside town about an hour from Melbourne and half an hour form Geelong. The beach is the absolute draw card which means the town can get particularly busy during Summer and peak holidays times such as long weekends. Anglesea has an abundance of different beaches and walking tracks as well as a range of native animals and birds. There are a range of coffee shops, gift shops, restaurants a supermarket, pub and bowls and surf club all within walking distance.

A quiet sleepy place.

A quiet sleepy place. More of a stopover (which is what we used it for) than a destination. However, I can imagine that it would be good for surfers. The beach was beautiful, but the water was cold. Does the 'Southern Ocean' ever get warm? (we visited in Feb)

Older place but in very good condition, well looked after and fully stocked with all the kit you require for an extended stay. Street was very quiet and if you like walking, well serviced by trails and quiet roads that take you straight into Anglesea shops (20min casual walk) or a number of more localised strip shops with great coffee. O'Donohues Beach is a 5 min drive and caters to a very pleasant, extended walk along the beach. Depending where you enter you can do a return beach walk from 20mins up to 2hrs.

We arrived expecting a slightly fancy motel - we got an absolutely enormous apartment with all the mod cons in a palm filled resort. The apartment was the size of a house. Wish we had bathers with us for the pool (winter trip) and we did not know about the kids trampoline section. The river is outside the hotel and it was just magical to walk down the river to the beach and sand dunes. Anglesea is gorgeous.

Great location to everything you go to Anglesea for and beyond. Clean and comfortable necessities in the room. Loved the retro and boho feel to the room. The sheets and towels were white, clean crispy sheets and fluffy non-smelly towels. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming.
