cabin we stayed at was very nice with lakeview, close to the swimming pools and kids playground. Shops were also close and plenty of fishing spots around.

The motel was close to my family, which gave me the opportunity to have a place to relax alone. I could walk to their house along the path by the lake. The location was perfect.

Our room was clean, fresh & comfortable with excellent views. The balcony had a lovely table and chairs. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in !! The pool was clean, tidy and very refreshing. Pool towels were provided. The food a the bistro was amazing with so many options. We had the most relaxing time and will be returning again some time.

Hard to find somewhere nice to eat on a Tuesday night.

Hard to find somewhere nice to eat on a Tuesday night. Went to the pub, food very average. Very few shops to just wander around or buy different things or coffee shops. The closeness to the river and beach are great.

The position of the Motel is great, water views of the river...

The position of the Motel is great, water views of the river, great walk along the edge of the river, shops, hotels and clubs not far and people are friendly and helpful for directions if you do happen to get lost. Would definitely be making this our stop in the future travels

It's a beautiful park in a beautiful location.

It's a beautiful park in a beautiful location. It's a shame I didn't get what I booked and payed for and the service is shocking. To walk to reception on arrival after driving 5 hrs ans askifor a bathroom, she said i had to wait till i get to our cabin.. to finalise check-in i needed Mobile reception so i had to walk out of their office as there's none in there.. she then started checking in the couple that were behind me and i had to stand there and wait 5 minutes busting for a pee while she shunted me... were then on day 3 needed fresh towels i walked to reception and asked and was sent back to our cabin to collect our used towels and told to take them back to reception to receive fresh ones. Get treated like a criminal for $260!! Terrible service.

Budgewoi is one of those lucky places that is nestled...

Budgewoi is one of those lucky places that is nestled between a lake and the ocean. It is a large town with all the shops you could want. Lots of restaurants and take away places. Busy town but laid back atmosphere.

Room smelt badly of smoke and other. Too much furniture for size of room Dirty environment Flood debris at rear door - river high no information about that immediate environment Just poor quality environment all round.
