Our room was clean, fresh & comfortable with excellent views. The balcony had a lovely table and chairs. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in !! The pool was clean, tidy and very refreshing. Pool towels were provided. The food a the bistro was amazing with so many options. We had the most relaxing time and will be returning again some time.

The trip was a family gathering, and lovely to visit Soldiers Beach, Norah Head and Wyong. Enjoyed takeaway from Alda's Pizza - delicious, an evening meal at Beachcomber Hotel - great venue, great food, well priced. And a great family gathering at Club Wyong - great venue, great staff, great food.

I was visiting a hospital the room was clean and tidy. It is an old motel which looks like it is being kept well looked after with a bit of upgrading happening. Most enjoyable for a short stay. Lovely personalised touches .

Toukley is a small town about 110 Kms from SYD and about 45 mins from Newcastle. it had all the basic stuff and amenities like Ald, Coles and its cafes.. Toukley is known for its recreational fishing and prawning, and small waves surfing.

Great location just over an hours drive from Sydney.

Great location just over an hours drive from Sydney. We stayed at the Beachcomber which overlooks the lake and was centrally located to nearby beaches. Plenty on offer or just a place to go and relax, worth a visit.

Toukley is a quiet area that proved a good place to...

Toukley is a quiet area that proved a good place to visit.Staying there meant we were able to visit Norah Head, The Entrance, Bateau Bay and Terrigal. The main shop is Coles and there were several chemists. Wyong and Tuggerah. with a Westfield and Event cinema, are short drives away. The entrance to the M1 to take you south back to Sydney was just past Tuggerah.

Its a beautiful little area.

Its a beautiful little area. I loved how it is close to The Entrance and close to many other beaches. I love how cosy it is here. Not overcrowded. Definitely would come again when the weather is hotter.

It was a last minute decision to stay in Toukley and this was the only Motel with a vacancy. Room and bed was OK, the bathroom needed work with poor paint job, taps and wall tiles falling off. It was good to see breakfast food and tea and coffee included. Given it was a long weekend, $174 for a triple room was fair.

A lovely house with terrific views from the living space and deck over Budgewoi Lake. Whilst the house is not grand, the house is comfortable and clean. The kitchen facilities are generous and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely return to this house as it is a short walk to Main St. and to the Beachcomber hotel.

I liked that the room was aired prior to arrival. The room was clean, welcoming, bright and comfortable. The staff are lovely and accommodating. It was my first trip to Toukley, and if I was to go again, I would go back to the Toukley Motor Inn.
